bump....come nobody here is doing shots..this is important..I did not hit a nerve, Just wondering if I injected in a vien..there was no blood on aspiration | ||

That sounds very much like it AB...I have heard those symptoms before,sweating,coughing etc...Usually associated with an oil-based being pumped through a vein... | ||

felt it in a pgf2 shot, but not prop. maybe a vein like you suspected. | ||

ok here's my story. i've only done like 20 injections, this was my first injection cycle ever. now about 2 weeks in i did a shot of fina. as soon as it went in i couldn't stop coughing for like 10 minutes and my lungs felt like they were burning up. i've heard this happening to some other people before as well and they turned out ok. some say it might have gone into a vein, my idiot roomate did the shot, he went through college for nursing, and he didn't aspirate so who knows where it went into.now here's the story, for the next few days i was continually out of breath, then on the weekend i had the worst flu like symptoms EVER, but i was never sick to my stomach. on monday i was so out of breath i couldn't walk down the hall to hang a leak without bending over and coughing like mad. so i went to the clinic at school, they ended up sending me in an ambulance to the city hospital. i was there for a week and the final diagnosis was pneumonia, but i don't know if they really knew for sure. my lungs were so full of fluid that i could barely breath so that my blood oxygen levels were so low i could have easily just passed out, and even slipped into a coma. now it was weird because i wasn't sick at all until the second i did that fina shot. but after i got out of the hospital, even though i should have probably waited, i stuck the pins back in and i've been fine since. anyway goodluck and if any symptoms don't go away, go to the doc. | ||

This happen to me mid cycle and my last shot. Only felt the couph(a little flem in the throat) and not the burning sensation on the last injection.Later that night a had a fever and felt fatigued.Next day felt fine. | ||

I have heard that prop will give flu like symptoms and severe infectious type pain. I was leary but started it anyway. I just finished my 5th inj. and have had no problems like these. I am a medic and feel that alot of it is sterile injection technique. I liquify the oil, in amp, in hot water first, scrub with alchohol prep pads before and after, aspirate, push slow, and massage after for a few minutes. Prop gets me sore and limping for about a day and a half, but I'm fine after that. I agree you probably hit a vein for some part of the administration. Always pull back on I.M. before pushing. | ||

Im in my 5th week on fina-that happened to me twice so far. about halfway through my body started "stinging"-almost like a burn and i lost my breath and coughed for a good 20 mins. nothing on aspiration either. just a wierd reaction. now i have a knot in my ass!!! | ||

I'M NOW ON MY THIRD CYCLE USING T-50. I'VE NEVER EXP THOSE SYMPTOMS, BUT I DID HIT A VEIN ONCE AND ALMOST DIED.
