What do ya'll think? I mean it shows a dude that is flabby and white and just 8 to 10 weeks he is ripped and tan. Ok I can see the tan part. But I think that is deceiving. I think they should show the flabby body tan too. Take for instance the new picture at the top of this board. There is no way(I think even with juice) to have that kind of body change in 10 weeks much less with some hard gainer bullshit. I mean I have been working out for a year and a half hard and have been on sos/deca for 5 weeks and I am not that big. So how do these before and after pictures get away with this crap without being buster for false advertising? What are your comments on before and after pictures? ![]() ![]() ![]()

Muscle memory & AS. A guy who has already been big can let himself go for 6 months, and then get it back very quick. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I would say most of them are a joke, a lot of the guys are in good shape and don't tan for a month, stick their gut out as far as they can and don't shave, get a tan pull the gut in shave and smile and they are a new man. Will ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

They guy in the banner ad gained 16 lbs in the first week! I have yet to read someone claiming that much off of a AS cycle. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I think there is alot of photoshop work done on some of those photos. And some of them don't even look like the same person whatsoever. there is definitely some kind of trickery going on in those ads. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]()

I don't really believe in "before and after" photos anymore...like the one for Xenadrine. I'm sure you guys know the really white fat guy who gets TOTALLY shredded in like 9 weeks and looks like an amatuer bodybuilder... ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It's called effective, targeted advertising. Lighting is important, so the finished product obviously must be better back lit, waxed chest, a smile, all sells. We do the same thing in cosmetic surgery advertising, auto polish advertising, and home restoration marketing. It is not necessarily false advertising, but it is blissfully deceptive! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

For starters, when you are out of shape, you are not likely to go tanning, have a fancy haircut or shave your legs. But, after many hours of exercise, you will tend to bring it all together. Regarding those pictures, I have a theory that some of them go 'backwards'...some dude who is diesel-yolked will have his perfect picture taken as the 'after' photo AND THEN hit the buffets and TV for 3 months to take the 'before' picture. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

They aren't that far fetched with a good diet and a nice variety of drugs. They just don't mention the T3, AS, diuretics, etc. that these guys have used. 10-12 weeks is plenty of time to lose 20lbs. 2-3 lbs a week during the first 8 weeks is not that hard to do naturally, let alone with all of our favorite supplements. ------------------ Visit my website at http://profiles.elitefitness.com for up to date A.S. info. ------------------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

In the first few issues of PUMP Magazine, one of the writers, Anthony So-and-so, did one of those before-and-after things where he was going to use strictly SoCal Supplements(owner of PUMP mag)to see how much muscle he could gain...He gained around 10-15 pounds I think, but never mentioned the Stanabolic, Norma deca and Equigan he was using at the time of his "after" pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Maybe the transitions are possible completely drug free. It is possible that the pics are taken a yr later not the 10 weeks they try to persuade us to beoieve ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I just posted this on Anabolic fitness today. I know a guy who trained with a guy who won one of the first Met-Rx contests. The guy was a former amateur, and had won Mr Indiana Overall. All he did was eat like a pig for about 3 months, barely train, take the before picture, and diet back down and take the after picture. Several years later he won the EAS contest. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Those before/after's are a complete joke. I had a buddy in college do the EAS contest, and he was one ripped (and natural) dude. He ate like complete shit and took salt tabs to retain water, doing absolutely no cardio, then took the before pic. Then he proceeded to get on gear, do a minimum of 2-3 hours of cardio a day, lift-fairly high reps, tanned, shaved all his body hair, got a hair cut, and ate only yams, tuna, and protein shakes for the entire time period. Needless to say it worked, but was it worth all that effort and abuse on his mind/body, absolutely not. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
