Hey bro, you are only eight weeks out? You cannot let the diet get to you. Yes, you will feel like shit, yes, you will feel like you are shrinking, and yes, your body is going to try to get you to quit. On the day of the contest though, I promise you will be happy you stuck with it. It is a great feeling to step on stage and show off your hard work. You will be amazed at how you look on stage against people in your weight class. Not everyone has the gusto to make it to the stage. You have to want it. Do not let yourself down. Eight weeks is not long. After it is over, you will be proud of yourself. So how badly do you want it?

Man, I went through the same shit! I'm not completely sure, but i think I dieted too hard. Plus, I stopped all AS 6 weeks out. Yeah, not smart, but I didn't want to hold too much water. After watching the tape of the show, I realized I had lost too much muscle. Oh well, I learn something new each time. I actually had an anxiety attack one day, freaked me out.
My advice to you: Don't diet too hard, especially 8 weeks out.

in my opinion, you're screwing yourself with that high protein and high fat diet....go back to a traditional diet for about 2 weeks and write EVERYTHING down that you eat....

60/25/15 on the ratios, get yourself a protein counter book and a food scale, and try to get 400 grams of protein a day....re-evaluate your situation after 2 weeks, and tell the board your experiences.

Hey man stick with it, follow your plan no matter what you make too many changes now and you'll mess yourself up. TRake notes learn from it and improve everytime.

As for the depression, just do your best, try to be around people that take your mind off the diet. Every year I get to a point where I am sure I am just gonna quit at least once. Persevere it will be worth it in the end. And if your like me you'd never be able to live with yourself if you quit.

Get the job done, bring home the tropy, make your bros proud, then celebrate man. Stay tight.
