Alright my science degree just isn't working right. No I don't have one. I am sure this has been discussed. But what makes the different esters in test. Is it ...
A) The number of carbon atoms attached to the molecule.
or
B) Where the carbon atom is attached to the molecule.

Some molecular structure pictures would be nice. But according to the answer above there might be one other question.

AS I UNDERSTAND IT, ITS THE LENGTH OF THE CHAIN (NUMBER OF CARBONS) RATHER THAN WHERE THE CHAIN IS ATTATCHED. THE LONGER THE CHAIN, THE LONGER IT TAKES YOUR BODY TO DISPOSE OF.
