I am trying to gain right now and I wanted to know if eating 2 packets of oatmeal in the morning and 1 packet with one of my evening meals is ok. Actually I just wanted to know if the oatmeal around 8:00pm is ok?thanks ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

oatmeal is a complex carb and will slow burn in your system instead of being used and stored right away like sugar. If your looking to gain just eat a lot during the day spread out over 6 meals and make sure your getting 1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight. You can have carbs at night if you really want but why not have lots of protein or a shake before bed. Carbs nearing bedtime will just store as fat. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

its only like 25gr of carbs, right? Thats fine if your trying to gain. Don't forget about eating some pb&j sandwiches too. Eat to GROW! Sometimes even when leaning out I throw in a packet of cream of wheat into my shake before bed. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

3 ounces in the morning and 2 ounces right before bed/or with last meal that's 3 ounces dry measure BTW ![]() Use plain oatmeal though, doesn't the package stuff include sugar/flavoring ?? cheers ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

yea the stuff I eat is brown sugar and maple oatmeal it is sooo good, I could eat it with every meal ![]() ![]() ![]() |
