Just out of curiousity, how do others stay away from the temptations to party and booze it up w/ the fellas and get on the ladies??
Doing a cycle towards the end of my college years may not have been the best time to start but there's no turning back now!!

i stay away from the alcohol personally, if im gonna get fucked up with my boys, i usually choose GHB, sometimes i will roll, but only on occasion, im not in control when im drunk, so i don't drink

It's tough bro, but keep true to your goals and it will pay off. If you have to carry something with you at the club, get water or juice. As far as letting loose, sometimes a little herb isn't bad. That's just my opinion.

you can drink but just on the week-end pick one day to get fucked up. only one. And no beer just hard shit. I'm in college and have been on and off for 3 years and still make fantastic gains with SOS 250. Just make sure you eat extra hard and drink lots of water the next day. Stay off the x-pill th'll eat MDMA will eat the shit out of your gains. ALso dr. super saint is right herb is good, but i heard it give gyno!!!!!!!!!!!

Spend a night at a college bar stone-cold sober and just people watch. If you don't want to slap the shit out of all the stupid drunks, I'll be amazed. I bounced throughout college and seeing those stupid bastards week in and week out made up my mind for me. My goals were too important to risk not achieving them. Fuck drinkin. I have more fun without it and it doesn't comprimise my goals. Be strong. You don't need that shit. Good luck. Later.

You have to take pride in your dedication and lifestyle. You have to make sacrifices in this game to be looked at in awe. If you're truely dedicated, not saying you arn't, you should relize what's in you best interest and have no problem rationalizing your decisions to fully comit yourself to the iron. I used to drink 3-4 days a week and since i have became more dedicated I have cut back to 1 day a week and hopefully soon it will be no drinking to maximize my gains. When i did my first cycle I went the first 6 weeks without drinking and gains were great but then I started to drink one night a week after week 6 and my gains suffered because of it.

juniorbc i have no idea wtf your talking about. Drinking hard liquer will definitly hurt your liver alot worse than a beer, especially if your taking a 17aa. Second, where did you hear that herb's give you gyno?!?!!?

I certainly want to get the most out of my first cycle and hope to keep a lot of the gains I do get.

Da Mad Phatta - could elaborate on the effects of the 17aa effecting the liver. I'm doing 50 eod of win and 400 eq/wk.
And for the record the booze is on the phase out program. thanks for any advice.

first off bro if you are training eating and resting strictly, there is really no room for alcohol. I havent had a beer in about 3 months, just a few shots of crown royal, but you know what the partying lifestyle doesnt accomodate the bb in college, between late hours, studying, and hangovers, I dont think that is too appealing for an aspriring bb. I am in college, but dont go to a big party school, but you know what after family, study, work, training, resting and meals, there isnt much time for partying. I rather take 8 dbols, and 2000mg of test opposed to 15 beers, and a drunk dorm slut!!!!!

When you go to the clubs, if you're sober, high, rolling, whatever, just get a soda (diet for me) and sip on that. Nobody will ask you anything. I will sometimes just drink a long island to get me buzzin' and then drink soda the rest of the night.

Pretty easy if u have some self control. I personally don't drink, but I like to go out raving w/ friends all night. I can work out then go raving at night and bring some food w/ me and a protein shake. Best thing about raves over clubs, is that you can take off your shirt (if ur cut) and do some fly dance moves and the ladies will flock. Just make sure you get ur 8-10 hours after partying the night away.

I'm not all too sure that I believe that whole thing about alcohol and compromised gains. I mean, I know it might lessen them slightly, but that's it. I used to drink like a fish and I put on 20 pounds lbm in the last year and I haven't cycled yet. The only real problem is that it makes you fat, which is why I've stopped drinking, more or less. In "The Education of a Bodybuilder" Arnold says that he and his buddies would go to the gym, bust their asses, go to a pub and eat a chicken and then drink all night. He also did that on the weekends. I don't think anyone can argue with Arnold's body so I don't see how it can affect you that adversely. The only problem I noticed is that sometimes if you're hungover your workouts suffer.

I think you are all completely WRONG...Go to the Jersey Shore in the Summer, Everyone at say: Joey Harrisons Surf Club or Temptations will be gigantic, ripped and be sporting a perfect physique...I am not lying...These guys drink, roll, bump K, take G...Once a week wont hurt anyone on or off a cycle...Moderation is the key and after hanging out in clubs you realize that all these guys train for the summer time when they can take their shirt off in the club, get fucked up and fuck some of the hottest girls Jersey and new York have to offer....Half of the people saying they wont drink or get fucked up are no where near as big and ripped as the guys at the jersey Shore in the summer...Also, go to New York City on any given weekend to Soundfactory or Exit Clubs and you will also see these huge ass ripped guys all fucked up...and I know for a fact they are not just drinking water....Have fun, life must be boring if you cant party and have a good time and show off the muscle you work so hard for....Let the flames begin I am sure Daeo will be all over this one....

Ok listen up Bro. I am also a college student, I play major D1 football, lift 6 days a week, and have a social life. You CAN make significant gains if you party. You have to sacrifice, for example: Last night I lifted, watched the Sopranos, then did Cardio. I showered up, and went out for the evening. I even got my 8 hours of sleep.
I'm 300lb. at 11.2% bodyfat and bench 475lb. so gains are still being made.

Lets be real too, you say you are an aspiring bodybuilder right? The odds of becoming a successful BB are about the same odds of winning the Lotto. At best you'll be the biggest, most awesome dude at your local gym. So stop trying to look like Arnold, do the best you can, give 110%, but still go out and live like a college kid should, because you're only this age once. I too have dreams of going to the NFL, but I also realize I'm at the peak of my young life and I need to live it up. Give it some thought and stop worrying. Have fun!!

Man Child...I also play College Football,,,and just finished my senior year...I completely agree with you....There are alot of guys on here thinking they are going to be some big time body builder...There are so many pro's out there that get fucked up and have fun...not sit at home friday nights, drink protein shakes and masterbate to FLEX magazine....

Moderation is the key. If you're going out to a party or the club, that doesn't mean you have to drink until you get hungover, which is actually alot. I got out frequently, but I never get hungover. Set a drink limit, and stay by it, that's what I do. I still have fun, but don't abuse by body.

Just pick one night to go out and party and get fucked up. I'll usually go out every other Sat night and drink or roll. G is good too but be careful. Getting caught with G on or near a college campus will seriously fuck up your rep and get you in deep shit. If you roll, make sure you have a huge gainer when you get home so you replace the calories.

Thinking about me baby I knew you were. Hmmm...Where should I start? I'll have to make a trip to Joey harrisons to see the Mecca of all bodybuilding. Guys with their shirts off, grinding up against each other all sweaty. OOOHHH..Seriously, anyone who takes their shirt off in a bar or club needs a bitchslap. How much more vain can you possibly be. Do you position yourself by a mirror on the dance floor all night long also. If you were truly "huge" people would be able to tell without taking your shirt off wouldn't they? Anyway I'm getting off the subject here. I've said this once and I'll say it again. If you choose to go out and choose whatever method to get fucked up, that's your decision. Will it effect me any? No. But, if you cannot enjoy yourself anywhere unless your fucked up you have serious emotional problems. It will effect your gains no matter what you guys choose to believe. Alcohol lowers you testosterone levels, raises estrogen levels, interrupts normal sleep patterns, lowers glycogen levels and I could go on and on. Doesn't sound like an ideal enviroment for growth. I like to have some discipline for the 8-10 weeks I'm on. If you don't choose to that's your decision...
