I started my diet today, but I'm sure I'll be ready for a little variety by the end of the week.

1. What do you bros do to make the steak/chicken taste half way decent? Any special marinade, etc?

2. How do you prepare your meats/veggies, etc.? Foreman Grill, etc.

Any other tips will be much appreciated.

Come on bros...I know you fuckers have dieted before.

Here's one of mine.

Make Kool-Aid with Equal instead of sugar. 0 calories and gets you over a craving for sweets.

I use my George Foreskin grill so F'in much I am wearing it out. George would be proud!!!

I like to marinate chicken or steak in fajita marinade, or use white wine worshershire(sp) sauce with garlic, and pepper.

I sometimes grill my potatoes, peppers, and onions on the Foreskin as well. I also take ground sirloin and mix it with frozen veggies and heat it up at work.

Most of my meals are consumed at work so I have to be creative, I bring a cooler and use 4 of those medium sized Ziploc microwavable containers I will put in a grilled chicken breast, 1/4-1/2 bag frozen veggies, 1/4lb ground sirloin, 1/2 of a sweet potato (chopped) and 1/2 of a regular potato (chopped) and microwave for 3 minutes.

I do that 4 times per day while at work. I will do MRP in between to handle the cravings.

Hope this helps.

Also....baking the chicken can help change things up a little. If you like chicken breast sandwhiches you can get the flourless bread.

What about fish? I love Orange roughy, baked or grilled, lemon juice & parsley on top with brown rice is very good.

Grilled foreskin? I think I'll stick with steak. LOL

That's pretty close to my method. I use the shit out of those ziploc containers.

I almost grabbed some Orange Roughy at the store Saturday, but I have to microwave my meals at work, so I wasn't sure how it would taste. Orange Roughy is some good shit if you know how to cook it. I used to sprinkle a little Italian breadcrumb on top with a little lemon. Damn...That sounds like a plan. We'll have to give that a shot and see how that tastes after it's been nuked.

Bump...I'm not letting this one sink. I want to hear everyone's suggestions. I know there are a few other bros on here that have actually dieted.

I hope this board isn't full of those fat boys that eat 3 pizzas per day for 3 years straight with the excuse that they're bulking up right now. LOL

I find the easiest way to prepare meals is on sunday night... Prepare 5 meals all at once

-I make 10 peanut butter sandwhiches
-Bag 5 bags of wheat thins, triscuits, wow chips or cheese nips
-Cook 10lbs of chicken breast
-Cook 5lbs of other lean meats
-Packed canned vegetables
-And some sort of dessert such as rice krispie treats or some sort of cereal
-As well as bagging all my protein powders, and make a shake or 2 at school
-Cottage chese
-Beef jerky
-Crystal light

Then for breakfast i wake up early... and have egg beaters, oatmeal, and 4 peices of toast

I take it this is your bulking diet. Still good tips. I do the same as far as making up all the meals for the week on Sunday. I don't have time to do that shit every night.

Hey dude,

It's not that big a deal bro.
Spend about 2 hours work for a months food !
Get a digi scale. Weight your portions of meat for the day...chicken/sirloin whatever.
Place the meat for that day into a freezer bag. Keep doing so until you have enough food for about a month. In the mean time make a marinade of your choice...alot of it. Use store bought or make your own. I use garlic/roasted sesame and it's the shit. After you figured out what your going to use as a marinade simply add some hot! water to the mix. Stir up well and add about half a cup to one of the bags of meat, zip it up and continue working on the others. After you have the meats in the bag with the marinade, try sqeezing out any air. A tip on marinading is to do it at room temperature. If the marinade is warm it will penetrate the meat faster. In fact it will be done in an hour. After you have left them on the counter for about an hour and the air is squeezed out simply stuff em' in the freezer.
Take out in the morning and cook em` up. I cook all my meals first thing in the morning so I only cook once. It takes about 30 minutes every morning. A trick to vegetables
is lemons and onions..great with veggies. And cook them well. When dieting I find it easier to eat very cooked veggies than firm ones. Anything else let me know. And as far as b-bqueing, it's a hassle when you have to eat every 2-2 1/2 hours , but it's good once in a while.
Anyway...hope this helps..it works.

cheers
Rom

Orange roughy is not bad after nuking!! I do this about once every 2 weeks for a change of pace.

Not bad at all. All of those sound good. I like Tuna Salad a lot, I don't know why I didn't think of that.

This a recipe for a dish me and my roomie came up with.. We call it the Ghetto Fiesta.

Take a couple of lb's of boneless/skinless chickent brest(Tenderloins if you can), put them in a bowl and pour a LOT of Crystals hot sauce and whatever seasonings you prefer; we usually go with some black pepper and a dash of seasoned salt. Let the chicken marinate for about 15-20 mins.

While the chicken is marinating pick your favorite veggies(we use, green peppers, tomatoes, red peppers, jalepenos), chop em up and place em in a baking pan. Then take the chicken and place it on top of the veggies(you can pour the extra sauce in the pan aswell). Once the chicken is in the pan, grab some canned black beans put them evenly in the pan around the chicken. Then get some low carb pasta sauce and place it over the chicken. Final step, take the pan and place it in the oven for about 1 hour tops at 350 degrees. Bam, your dinner/lunch is ready.

If you dont mind the carbs, the dish goes real well with some brown rice. We usually use about 2 bags of chicken, store what we dont finish, and eat it for about 2/3 days.

This just an idea, you can intertwine the recipe to suit your personal taste buds. We got a couple of more dishes, let me know if you like this one.

AJC -

My only problem with what I listed is I sometimes eat the whole freakin bowl of jello and I get bloated and don't want to eat regular food for a while.

Another great thing I eat is steamed snow peas or broccoli or asparagus (make my piss smell) with a chicken breast sauteed in 2 tblspoon of olive oil and garlic. The I add some balsamic vinegar on top of the veggie and dip it in the oil....VERY GOOD.

I'm not giving you any more tips than this or else you'll be too ripped
