After about 3 years of reading this board weekly, I'm going to finally take the plunge with a cycle this summer. I'm going with an 8 week plan of 400/500 TTokyo Deca/Sust with Winny at 50mL ED for the last 3 weeks, and clomid thrown in at 50mg EOD from week 2. Here is where the confusion for me comes in. I've been on proscar tabs 1.25mg a day (5 days on, 1 off) for the last 2 years with great results. Also have been using Nizoral. I thought I had a little spot in the back and reccession 2 years ago. Right now there's not even a hint of baldness- I have a freakn afro that's thick as hell. I'm not sure if I had MPB or just the regular progression of age, but I didn't want to take any chances. Here's my questions: 1. Since I am going to be using Deca, I know that the finasteride will just accelerate the baldness. Therefore I'm going to have to go off before the cycle and use spironolactone when I'm on. How long does it take for finasteride to flush fully out of your system, after you injest the last pill, to the point that it will not react adversely to the Deca? 2. Related to question 1- On the converse, how long will it take for Deca to be fully out of my cycle after the last injection to the point where I can start taking the proscar again? 3. Does anyone have experience with using topical Spironolactone while on a cycle, and what have been the results? Also, I've been giving this a lot of thought, but would it be benefical for me to shave my head while on and applying the spironolactone to maximize the absorption in the critical points of the dome? I'm not sure if it would be efficiently getting to the parts of my scalp that need it with my fro. Sorry, for the long post- just want to make sure that I do everything to preserve the mane. i used spiro with my deca/sust cycle.. wasnt impressed at all.. lost bunch of hair.. i am using minoxidil&flutamide sln this time..so far so good..i think spiro is crap..and it was harsch on my scalp also..it also stinks like hell.. anyway..good luck | ||

Damn!!!! I thought that Spiro was pretty effective. Looks like I'll have to start looking at the more expensive flutamide now. Why are you using Minoxodil with Deca, I thought that was just as bad as using finasteride with Deca. SHIT......Any alternative cycle suggestions????? |
