Since lowering it would create more free testosterone to bind to the AR is there any practical way to lower SHBG? Or any other tactices to free more of the testosterone?     | ||

Proviron is said to bind to the SHBG and consequently make the other steroids in the cycle more effective (as you said, by freeing them up to bind to AR's). I've never tried using it, but plan to in my next cycle. I'll post the results. | ||

Mike is right on.. Anabolic 2000 says Proviron and winny will do this and I am planning on using them in my next Test cycle.. | ||

Any steroid with androgenic properties will lower SHBG according to what I have read. Decided to test it myself while taking dbol and t200. Normal reference range for males is 13-71 nmol/L. My normal level was 32 nmol/L. After one week of 30 mg dbol and 600 mg T200, my SHBG level had dropped to 10 nmol/L. | ||

Oh, and I wouldn't take proviron for the purpose of lowering SHBG if you are using any AS which has some conversion to DHT. SHBG has an extremely high affinity for DHT. So if you are taking dbol for example, your SHBG will bind and thus inactivate any DHT metabolites originating from dbol. Hence, you are lowering your SHBG and DHT levels at the same time. | ||
