i was out today getting a couple suits fitted. but because i plan on putting on more pounds, i asked the tailor to make certain areas a little bigger, such as my neck and shoulders. i was wondering what you guys do when you do a mass cycle, gain weight, then cant fit into your suits. do you have suits for on and off times. i just dont want to have them fitted, then 8 weeks later i cant get fit into them. peace...Arms

Arsm I have several different sets of clothing. Off & on season (football), and Off & on cycle. My body varies all the time depending on what I am doing so yes you have to have more then one set of clothes.

I learned this the hard way. I was fitted for a tux for my wedding mid cycle. 3 weeks later I picked it up and flew to L.A. to get married, never thought twice about it. On the wedding when I got dressed I looked like a total nerd. It was so tight in the back, shoulders and arms, not to mention the shirt. Good thing it was a quick ceremony. ------------------

I think getting measured for a suit is one of the funny or most frustrating things ever. They always tell me I will never find a suit to fit because they don't taper. They say I will have to have them custom made. It's a great compliment, but when you need that shit pronto you want to grab the guy by the neck. So I have a few different sizes of suits to answer your question.

Well that is why there is custom mades. My legs will only fit in suit pants with a waist of like 48, but my waist is a 38. 10 sizes too big just so my legs can fit. Always been a problem. If you get time custom mades are they only way, but prepare your budget. Last one I got was 540.00, Pants, shirt, and jacket.

I know the feling try buying a 54 or 56 suit at 5'6 most suits has a 10" drop in pants size so 44 or 46 and my waist is 29 so I gave up on them. I wear slacks and shirt to church now I've lost some size letting a bicep heal but just the shape of my body to much V makes it tough to be fitted. When i ask for a suit they just say no way sorry that does get on my nerves though and a couple of seamstress tried to fit me years back and had to pract remake the suit and by the time they take up the pants the pockets look like a chinese the pockets go up like two big eyebrows try taking your coat off and let people see that, they would bust out laughing.

Forget about a suit off the rack. I couldn't even get a suit off the rack when I was 16 years old. Now it is just a joke. Get two wardrobes...you have no choice. ------------------ Great Information on Injections and Syringes

Yeah, it really sucks, especially if you can't stand cheap suits. Getting a suit made to measure when it would cost $900 off the rack is just painful. Luckily I only need a couple of suits.
