Thanks for your comments. So if what you say is correct then when you put real thialand d-bol under a black light they turn dark purple. The fakes stay the same color. My other question is: I took d-bol before on a sust/d-bol/primoteston cycle and had great results, but I did not take the d-bol under my tongue. Am I suppose to take it under my tongue or can I just swallow them like I did previously?    | ||

You can take them orally, or you can let them melt under your tongue into those nice juicy viens. Either way, i don't think it matters much. People would argue its 110% better than just swallowing them. rxderrick | ||

may be a stupid question, but under your tongue gets in your blood faster correct, then would it also help with taking some stress off of the liver? | ||

Even under your tongue, you salvate - and the majority of it slides down your throat. Either way your ingesting it, one way just takes more time IMO. rxderrick | ||

Here is the pertinent part of an interview with Dan Duchaine: NM: I'm with you there, Dan. Tell me, do you think there is any advantage to taking oral steroids sublingually so they bypass the liver somewhat? DD: You want them to go through the liver! The reason orals are so effective is they cause all kinds of growth factors in the liver, like IGF1, that an injectable would not do. [This may be the reason there is so much anecdotal evidence that oral steroids have the ability to "burn fat."] If you look at blood tests, moderate amounts of orals don't screw up liver enzymes all that much. DD goes on to say that only steroid molecules incapsulated in the correct cyclodextrin will actually absorb in the mucous membrane of the mouth. Cyclo's cost $400. a kilo, and to my knowledge, no dbol contains them. 2thick is correct, just swallow them. | ||

Im a little lost here. Is someone saying that if you discolve dbol under the tongue it is not going to effect the liver? | ||

Not saying it, I was just asking if it would take stress off the liver if it was disolved. The reason I asked this is because it seems it gets straight into the blood stream that way... so it seems it would bypass the liver. | ||

It will still pass through the liver. If you want you can inject it and that will bypass the liver but only the first time round. | ||

BASICALLY WHAT DAN SAID IS THAT THE FIRST PASS IS WHEN THE LIVER DOES ALL SORTS OF WONDERFUL THINGS, LIKE RELEASE IGF-1. THATS WHY ITS SO IMPORTANT. WINSTROL FOR EXAMPLE CAN ENHANCE TEST BY DECREASING THE BODY'S PRODUCTION OF SHBG, BUT IT ONLY DOES THIS WHEN TAKEN ORALLY. HE ALSO SAID NO D-BOLLS ARE MADE WITH CYCLODEXTRIN, WHICH MEANS YOU HOLD THATY NASTY FUCKER UNDER YOUR TONGUE ALL YOU WANT-IT WON'T ABSORB. IT WILL MIX WITH MUCOUS AND YOU'LL SWALLOW IT ANYWAY. SHOULD TASTE PRETTY GOOD THOUGH. | ||

I'm no expert, but I'm not so sure about Duchaine's theory about oral roids releasing liver IGF-1... I've always read that that is the job of GH... I've never heard of AS affecting IGF levels... but I could be wrong... ------------------ | ||

Now this gets really complicated. As Iron Game pointed out, GH only elevates IGF very slightly, but both must be present for effective synergy. And because of the body's self regulating mechanisms, GH supplementation alone can negatively impact the body's own production of GH,IGF, and insulin. All three are necessary to promote anabolism. This is why bodybuilders consider the ideal GH stack to include steroids(IGF stimulation and protein synthesis) and insulin(protein transport). Adding IGF-1 would be even better, but try to find it....and know that it was kept refrigerated the entire time. Add to all this the fact that there are several forms of IGF in the body, several sub-categories of IGF-1, 6 forms of IGFBP's and a number of GHBP's, none of which are fully understood, and there is no wonder that the literature on this topic is confusing.
