Ruhl is a machine. I can't believe anyone doesn't like him. I am a big Flex Wheeler Fan, but Ray he weighs 200lbs and looks it. Milos has a great physique too, but he's never winning any big shows. | ||

ifbb decided on the best bod -ronnie- but im with you guys i prefer dexter someone with size i like dennis james flex is too soft now -sythnoled out- plus dexter has a more attainable physique so its encouraging to see him do well ray only weighs about 205 all those guys lie about their weight they should make them weigh in, just b/c of the fact if your an aspiring pro bber and you see #is like 260 etc and you 200 its discouraging now if they said 240 hey maybe | ||

I agree that more symmetrical bodybuilders have definitly lost respect in the past few years..personaly I belive that you can infact get TOO BIG. size has definitly replaced symmetry in terms of being able to win at the higher levels of bb.. ------------------ | ||

I think guys like Flex and Ray look a lot better than the huge freaks of the world like Coleman and Ruhl. I hope judges return to giving credit symmetry, shape and overall appearance and not just on sheer mass. Too many guys using too much Synthol and guys with big HGH guts these days in my opinion. I think shawn ray should win an olympia but right now coleman is just kicking so much ass that I don't see it happening soon. Coleman may have been holding some water but his physique has been far and away the best for the last 3 years. For shape I like Ray. I also like Dexter. I saw flex on a Tv show documenting the Arnold on TLC and there was a clip of him doing Smith Machine rows. HOLY SHIT his belly (and I could see his abs) blew up like a beach ball everytime he lifted the weight. I mean REALLY BLEW THE FUCK UP. Every time it swelled it was like an eclipse over Charles Glass's jerry juiced head. But even still its not nearly as big a belly as some of the other guys. Maybe Flex needs to up his GH intake and inject more synthol into his stomach...then he can play with the big boys. | ||

Frankly I like the old-style, proportioned look which the top guys had years ago. I think Frank Zane was the last had it down really well. Now its all sorta freaky. I mean, yeah, its incredible, I know these guys work their asses off, and take all kinds of shit (and risks), but still, from an asthetic standpoint, Zane was the last guy who had a look that I would want to walk around with. | ||

I'm with HayesJones on this one. Lifestyles aside, Paris had an all time classic physique. The latest Flex mag has a pic of him now at 40 and he still has got the look. Others such as Zane and Labrada are up there too. Currently, Shawn Ray does the best job of blending mass with symmetry. | ||

Jean Pierre Fux has a gorgeous body... if you're a rhinoceros in heat.
Dorian really wasn't the pure mass monster he was made out to be. Especially during his first few years winning the Sandow, he had superior muscle shape, hardness, and balance PLUS more mass than everybody else. But later on he developed a bad extended gut and didn't come in as hard as had been in the past. Look at his midsection in '97. Anyway...what about Serge Nubret back in the day? Oleg Zuhr has a body very close to Ray, he just lacks some mass. He looks pretty good too. Like I said, massmonsters like Ronnie just don't look good to me. It is a sport of body art. He looks like shit. Kevin Levrone is alright, but probably 5th in my books. Also, Eddie Robinson is comming into shape now, as well as Dennis Newman. | ||
