cause stretch marks in the outer hip area even on skinny people? i have never been overweight, and ever since i started deadlifting and squatting about 6 months ago i have developed small little stretch marks on the outer hip area but my strength on other excersises like flat bench and others have been going up. i was thinking about quitting cause i dont need stretch marks, but then again i dont want to lose the strenght gains either ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

i've got stretch marks too. I do sumo-style deadlifts which seem to hit my inner thigh muscles too so i notice them there more. it's life, bro. some guys get em some don't. i got a friend who can deadlift and squat out of this world, he said he hardly notices. think of it this way, who sees those areas? not many unless you're a nudist. and if you're worried about it for a bodybuilding show, tanning and protan covers them up quite well. later. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Gentlemen, I squat and deadlift with small vehicles on my back (in other words respectable weight)I have horrific looking big red strecth marks on the inside of my thighs by my crotch, obviously from the squats and deadlifts. Only my fiance' see' sthem and she's pretty grossed out by them, but squat and deadlifts are absolute musts...shit..I think I wouuld chose them over her.
