What type of music do you like? I love trance for a show. Its like listening to an opera without words, the music itself is moving. Go to Napster and Download "Exploration of Space" Its awsome. Highs and lows, it builds up and explodes with energy.

Either Shanai Twains,"Man I feel like a woman". Or Deana Carters,"Did I shave my legs for this?" Just kidding bro, the music thing is all up to you, whatever gets you pumped up.

Yo Will, lighten up bro. It was all in good fun, not to be taken seriously. We could get in to a pissing match over contests and competitions, but all that is usually totally bullshit over the net. Bottom line is that the music you use can not be picked by some one else. It is personal preferance and should be picked by you, basically like I said at the end of the post. Also don't be so quick to assume that because some one on this board doesn't have a ton of posts, that it is also their extent of bodybuilding experience. Oh yeah one last recomendation for you, try Meredith Brooks,"I'm a bitch!" Hope to see you onstage at the USAs in Vegas on July.

WBH, give me an idea of what kind of stuff you're into. I'll make some suggestions but I need to know where to begin.

Rook, that response sounds like it comes from a very immature perspective. That was indeed sarcasm, but for what? I guess it's a free world, eh?

Let me explain it to you, since a few of you seem to be lagging behind.....the sarcasm comes from every single thread that even hints at being "off topic" gets a flame thrower in its direction, and to those people, I refer to as homo's.

Ya follow now? ;-)

Every little post that just HINTS at being off topic doesn't deserve to be flamed and called a homo....I could see if this was WAY off topic like the Seinfeld post...but come on guys...this was a legitimate post and question in my opinion....no offense at all to the chat bros and gals but their topics of discussion are usually not strongly bodybuilding oriented...if you were Will who would you want to respond...a majority of people whom have moderate knowledge of competing (Chat board) or a much higher majority who have PERSONAL knowledge of competing....sorry for the long rant but this is an example of unnecessary flaming that detracts from the quality of the board....just my .02 We're here to help each other and learn... PEACE

Here's some that I think would be cool:

"The immigrant song" from Led Zeppelin 3
"Electric Eye" by Judas Priest
"Fairies wear boots" by Black Sabbath
"Revolution is my name" by Pantera from Reinventing the Steel

I think "Iron Man" by either Sabbath (studio) or off of the Ozzy Live Cd would be real cool to pose to. I mean you come out to the slow music, and announce "I AM IRON MAN!!! Change to another song to your liking, relative to tempo, but your proclamation would be memorable. Yes, it has probably been done, but.....

Brothers, I agree that true off-topic stuff should be fair game, however, what music to use for a competition -- to me -- is defitely within the format considered to be acceptable for this forum. I don't mean to beat this to death but this kind of exposes just how roid-centered this is getting. Don't get me wrong, I dig the stuff as much as anyone, but I hope we don't forget all of the other aspects to bodybuilding and important things there are to a bodybuilder in his plight to be the best he or she can be. Didn't mean to get on any soapbox but that was MHO. Peace!
