Bro i hope this is a joke. You ate like 1000 calories, maybe 100g protein. Your are going to start breaking down muscle in a hurry unless you change your diet NOW ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

quote: nope, not a joke. my bodyfat is pretty damn high (i'm going to get it measured tomorrow, i'll let ya'll know how high it is) it may be stupid but losing muscle is the last thing i'm worried about right now, losing fat being #1. i'll worry about gaining muscle later, i'm just tired of being fat. i just know that if i consume too few calories per day that my metabolism will slow down and that's exactly what i don't want. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Bro, your diet mentioned will put your body into a starvation state. In this state, your body will store fat instead of burning it since it does not know when it will get feed enough calories again. Stick with 5-7 high protein, moderate to low carb, low fat diet. Take in your carbs early in the day, and try to cut them or limit them after 5. Eat oatmeal, brown rice, yams for carbs along with plenty of veggies. For protein, stick with tuna, fish, chicken, egg whites, and even lean cuts of red meat. You need to take in more protein and more calories or you will wonder why your body has not burned off any of your stored bodyfat, since it will remained stored. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Oh man, the only thing you will build with that is a smaller wallet from all the money you are wasting on the gear. You need to triple that and add some carbs and essential fatty acids. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'd say that 3000 of the right kind of calories would be on the edge of too much. However, I have alway's been of the mindset to err on the side of having too many calories and simply up the cardio, thus protecting the hard earned muscle gianed during a bulking phase. No disrespect, but I have seen too many individuals cut calories in an attempt to reduce bf% just to end up weighing less with the same body composition. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hey bro, if you weigh 237, then your BMR is pretty high, and if you want to keep what muscle gains you've got you've got to provide your body with protein/amino acids to nurish those tissues, especially when you get all catabolic by cutting your calories down so much. If I were you I'd up my protein keep the carbs medial to provide energy and to spark some insulin release. Keep your fat intake low, and hit the cardio hard. Hope this helps. ![]() ![]() ![]()

BMR=Basal Metabolic Rate, the rate in which your body burns calories at complete rest. In other words, the calories needed to sustain yourself without any physical exertion. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

BMR= Basal Metabolic Rate All this is good advice, until you become better educated on dieting & healthy eating try this: Calories out > Calories in Keep the calories in like the previous bros mentioned. good luck ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
