I searched and could not find an answer so looking for some help here. Test seems to be enlagening the pores on my face, specifically on the nose and cheeks. Nothing near severe yet but I'd like to stop this before I start losing things in them. I scrub the hell out of my face every day while on and also wash with alchohol and it still seems to appear around wk 6 or so. My dosages were quite low and I plan on stepping it up a bit for this next cyle and I would like to be prepared. Other than this I noticed no other sides, any suggestions to help this? Thanks

After you wash your face, rinse with cold water, that should tighten your pours. Do that 3 time a day after your regular washing. Cold water tightens pours. ------------------ "Catch a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime."

I'm gonna bump this, this is a permanant thing for me, not just something that happens during the cycle. The effects do not go away with time, it's hard to believe a little cold water is going to stop this but I will give it a shot.Any other ideas?

quote: go tanning...use no tanning cream every other day to actually induce mild dryness..don't scrub your face either it worsens the problem. Use warm water, wash for a few minutes gently then apply a mild wash..tea tree oil or something. If your moisturizing your skin, use mild creams with little or no perfumes or dyes..this should help. It will take a couple weeks but if you start tanning it should start to work sooner.. cheers

Go to the dermatologist, they can give you Retin A which will help or you can have them do microderm abrasion which is kind of like sandblasting the top layer of skin off. Doesn't hurt but you will look and feel like you have a sunburn for several hours. Four treatments two weeks apart with Retin A use in between will do wonders for this problem. It is kind of pricey $350+ for four treatments plus the cost of retin a but it will solve your problem. You made need touch up treatments every few months or so. The other thing they can do is a chemical peel.

I have this thing happening to me as well. I think this is what DHT does to the skin. It makes the pores bigger and makes the skin "rougher". WOmen don't have this and that is why their skin is so smooth and soft. I don't think its really a problem though unless the pores become so large like that bad guy from that James Bond movie about ten years ago (anyone know what I am talking about?) I think a little bit of it actually looks kinda cool. MAybea I am crazy?

Never tried it but I've heard people putting Preperation H on their face at night. It's supposed to tighten the skin. I also heard some guys at the gym saying to rub some on your midsection before tanning and it will temporarily tighten the skin around the abs. Lemme know if you try it. Peace, C.
