One more week before i start my cycle and ive got a choice of either deca or eq to stack with 50mg tabs of whinny. My goals are to gain around 15lbs of lean body mass. currently im 183lbs 5'11 around 12%bf. My question is what should my diet look like? I know high protien and moderate carbs but what should my calorie intake be? Should i cut out carbs after 6 or so? Im trying to get as cut as possible while gaining quality muscle....please don't flame me i know you cant cut and bulk at the same time.... i just want to put on the extra 15lbs to look better by the pool this summer, so i'm not so sure wether or not to stack the eq since it contributes to hunger, what do you guys think? should i run a clen/eca stack along with this? of course cardio will be included but my biggest question is on the diet thanxs guys! this board is by far the best!!!!

TRY THIS ....
MEAL 1-8 OZ. LEAN GROUND BEEF
4 EGG WHITES AND 2 WHOLE EGGS
1 TBSP. FLAX OIL\

MEAL 2-40-50 GRAMS WHEY WITH 6 STRAWBERRIES, 1TBSP FLAX OIL AND 6 TBSP OF HEAVY WHIPPIN CREAM

MEAL 3-6 OZ TURKEY BREAST AND 6 OZ LEAN GROUND BEEF AND A LARGE SALAD WITH VINEGAR AND OIL

MEAL 4-SAME AS MEAL #2

MEAL 5-8 OZ. LEAN GROUND BEEF AND 8 0Z. OF CHICKEN BREAST AND 1 CAN OF GREEN BEANS

MEAL 6-12 0Z. SIRLOIN OR LEAN GROUND BEEF AND 2 CUPS VEGETABLES AND 1 TBSP. FLAX OIL

THIS YIELDS OVER 450 GRAMS PROTEIN AND LOTS OF FAT TO MAKE IT VERY ANABOLIC BUT NOTICE YOUR CARB INTAKE IS MINIMAL. CARBS MAKE YOU FAT AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE. USE THIS DIET OF 5000 CALORIES A DAY AND YOU WILL GROW LIKE A WEED. GOOD LUCK

Actually I disagree. Carbs CAN make you fat, but it all depends on the kind, the timing, the amount, and most importantly, how your specific biology reacts to it...I tolerate carbs very well for example.

CHO, CAN NOT MAKE YOU FAT, AND PEOPLE DONT' GET FAT FROM CHO(What i'm saying is that CHO will not easily turn into FAT)... Yes some CHO can convert to fat, but its not optimal for your body to do so, and it doesn't contribute to obestiy, getting over weight ect... The process is called DENOVO LIPOGENESIS.

If anyone as taken a basic or advance nutrition class they would understand the concept.
Before I got into my upper level classes I also use to believe that CHO turn into fat and make us fat.
You can do your own reaserch on it, and see why CHO do not turn into fat as easy as people think they do.

if carbs dont make you fat then why dont we all eat 500 grams of carbs a day while we diet for a contest? you will go on stage and look like shit. you are always better off adding more fat to your diet for added calories than carbs. by the way, your stupid nutritional classes dont teach you shit about "real diets"...and i should know i am a senior at purdue in exercise science and have taken them as well as dieted for shows.

Carbs don't make you fat...Excess calories do. The reason carbs are at very low levels pre contest is because to loose fat you must be calorie deficient on a daily basis. Can't cut protein...gonna need that to keep our contest muscle. Most of the time fat intake is already quite low so no calories to cut there...What do we have left...Ah, yes, carbs. We must cut calories so we cut carbs. Carbs also reatain fluid in the body. Not a desired effect for that ripped look. Cut carbs and you cut calories and water retention.

when carbs make up a majority of your diet, you burn glucose as energy. Insulin is secreted to utilize the glucose for energy or store it as glycogen in the liver and muscles. The problem is that the insulin also activates the lipogenic(fat-producing) enzymes and decreases the activity of the lipolytic (fat-burning) enzymes. In other words, you store more fat and use less of the fat that you already have. In simpleton's terms, those fat-free carbs will make you fat!! You need fat to burn fat. i feel like I am writing a paper for class..
