Starting at about the fourth week of my cycle my abs on my left side spasm and lock up when I do crunches and I have to relax and stretch it to have it release. I can only do about two sets. Could this come from not enough stretching before working them or maybe they are growing too fast?

I have had the same problem...the cramping is almost unbearable and it hits me right in the middle of a rep. I've had to lay back and stretch out before I can even get up...I started working my abs first and have had no problem. For me, I think it has something to do with the ephedrine I'm taking.

are you drinking alot of water? i remember when i used to wrestle, whenever i was dehydrated i would cramp. The ephedrine causes more sweating so you may be too dehydrated, just a thought

I'm sure it is all related. After my workouts I am much more dehydrated. Don't think it's AS related at this point

New to the neighborhood... I have experienced the same phenomenon, but ONLY when I am "on". I eat caff, ephedra, acet. stacks like crazy and never experience the cramping unless I'm on. I drink copious amounts of water, so I do not believe it to be caused by dehydration.
