I am going on a cruise to mexico in may and wanted to know how hard it would be to get some gear back with me? Are dogs taght to smell out all drugs, I know that sounds stupid! Any help would be greatly appreciated     | ||

No dogs can't detect steroids. Not the vials or the pills... As far as cruises I have been on a couple, to my suprise customs was very light both times just a person collecting our disclosure forms on the way off the boat. Oh yea they did run dogs through the ship before they would let us off. My experience was good on both cruises, but as you know things change and you are always taking a chance... | ||

do they xray your bags? or do they check thru them? Wouldnt several vials look suspicious in an xray? ------------------ | ||

they xray your bags when you get back on the boat. i've taken 2 cruises and I've never been checked. We wore cargo shorts and put it in our pockets. Make 2 trips back on the boat if you have to. Your safest bet is to put your gear in a carry one bag. Your regular luggage probably goes through an xray. They never checked me or anyone else when we got off the boat | ||

Make sure you wipe off the amps who knows what they have been stored with.  |
