does anyone follow atkins and use gear together? How are the results? | ||

You will lose weight very quickly doing that. I lost 20lbs is 24 days. I modified it a little by raising the protein. But I couldn't be happier with the results. I was on.. deca...200mg eq.....500mg winny..350mg ------------------ | ||

I went on the atkins diet once with no gear. I did lose weight very quickly and got lean, but I think I lost as much muscle mass as fat. Ulter I am also interested in how much fat vs. muscle you lost while on gear. Also, I'm assuming you did a straight Aktins keto diet with carbs very low in the 20 grams per day range and no weekend carb ups? | ||

I've done the weekend carb up think without gear last year, and actually my weight stayed the same, but I lost about 4 inches in my waistline, so I took that as increasing muscle somewhat while loosing the fat. Actually when I was in ketosis it took forever to recover from injuries, so I would go easy on the weights until the weekend. | ||

I thought it takes 3 or 4 days to get into ketosis... so if you carb up on weekends and then start over each week.. you only spend a day or two in ketosis... doesn't that defeat the purpose | ||

Hey I did that Body Opus for about 4 yrs and its great whit and without gear the last 6mths I went back to just carbs for this winter and it is easy to get back in the Body Opus I started it last week again getting ready for the summer as for my gear Im useing sus primo gh and slin remember this if you use the slin right you will get back into ketosis fast like in about 24hrs or so so I also carb up on the weekends ------------------ | ||

I lost strickly BF and water. I say that because none of my lifts suffered even the slightest loss in weight. I carb up for 24 hours from 4pm sun to 4pm mon. ------------------ | ||

If you do your exercises right, you could get in keto about 2 days. It's a matter of exercising enough to get rid of all glycogen in your system. Of course insulin could be used too. |
