does powdered winny need to be mixed with anything or can it be taken alone. i assumed it could be taken alone, but i read in some interview that paul borreson (sp?) said that powdered products should be mixed with a liguid but i forget which type. anyone know? dj-    | ||

I'm sure it was polypropelene glycol. It's available legally from many chemical manufacturers. The winny should be mixed with water though. 5g of winny powder in 100ml of Water will make a 100ml bottle of 50mg/ml winny. | ||

Take ajc's advice and make a solution of winny in either alcohol or propylene glycol. You can use water, but I wouldn't if I were you. I used water, and only used about half my solution during my cycle. I stored the other half at room temp, in the back of my closet away from heat and light. Well, I checked it today, and the shit went bad, very bad. Big chunks of black mold floating in it, and it smelled like hell. An expensive little experiment, but "live and learn". If you use water, refrigerate you do not use. Make it exactly like ajc suggested, and don't let anyone talk you into capping it. Unless you have a scale accurate to within +/- 0.001 gram, it is very difficult to know how much you are putting in each cap.
