i was in the same boat last year.....i just ate a tone of tuna and cottage cheese. Bought it all in bulk. Made tuna salad in huge tupperwares, and also mixed tuna with minced olives and low fat cottage cheese for a change of pace. It gets old, but better than what they served in the meal halls here.

Hey bro,
I feel your pain. I am in the same situation right now. I personally liked to get a loaf of whole wheat bread at the beginning of he week and a gripload of sliced chicken breast. Also, you can get canned chicken breast at the supermarket and it isnt half that bad. I usually eat an entire big can and it has about 70 grams of protein per can. Also, get some canned veggies and make usre you watch the amount of sodium in the canned goods. Protein shakes are also a key component, as well as protein bars. If your bulking and dont give a shit, eat a shitload of natural peanut butter. Good source of protein but a lot of satty fatty. If anyone else has any ideas fill us in. Almost done with this school year and i am dying to move into an apartment next year with a big frig, not the tiny ass ones they give you in the dorm, and a full kictchen.AAAAAAAAHHHHHH i cant wait. Later fellas!!!

I go to the grocery store, where they have the meat behind the glass and the butcher wraps up how much you want, and I ask the guy what time they wrap up all the unsold meat behind the glass to put on the shelves. Then I would go there at that time and they would always give me ground beef and chicken breasts for 99 cents a pound because they would always be tired and want to go home and didn't want to have to wrap it all up to put on the shelves. Try it, saved me a shitload of money.

well i live off campus now, but when I was in the dorms they used to serve hard boiled eggs every morning. Of course I couldnt wake up to eat em, but every once and a while I would go down to the dining hall and use one of the bags from a loaf of bread and steal about 50 hard boiled eggs. I brought them to my dorm room and threw em in the fridge.

When I was in college, I lived off tuna, oatmeal (considering you have a microwave), and 20 pound containers of Perfect Rx I bought from DPSnutrition.com.

It's pretty hard to beat $30 for 5lb jug of whey. Tuna is another option. If you have cafeteria pass then you have no option but to sneak food out because you rather eat 5 small meals than 2 big ass meal.

Hand blender + MRPs will make your life easier.

I was going to say the same thing. Big tubs of Whey Protein, MRPs, and even big tubs of high protein-low sugar Gainer saved me. Protein bars between classes are great, and canned tuna or chicken are a snap, too.

Do you have access to a common dorm kitchen? If so, you can do the hamburger/tuna helper thing... MRP's are great, drink 2 or 3 at least a day between classes, that'll help... And bide your time until you get a full-on kitchen to use!

I lived in a dorm for 2 and a half years... *shudder* Glad those days are done.
