Why is it bad? I'm taking it because of high stress my levels are very low causing major carb cravings. This isn't good during this time. I'm trying to lose 5% bodyfat. It seems to help. I also have inflamatory arthritis in my hands and shoulder.

i always thought that cortisol was a stress hormone and was very CATABOLIC (im a newbie by the way from the UK, hi guys!)
i'm a med student, so my cortisol levels are high, the guy at my supplement store said i should take cortisol blockers to help me make gains because cortisol stops gains. Can anyone suggest any good cortisol blockers?

steoids give your muscle cells a message to increase protein synthsis ,cortisone gives the exact opposite message, to breakedown amino acids, thats why people sometimes use cytadren to lower cortisone levels.
