Are Cytomel and T3 basically the same? My doc just took me off cytomel and told me he was having a pharmicist make me some T3. I'm gonna start out taking 50mcgs twice a day for the first week. Second week, 75mcgs twice a day, and third week for a month, 100mcgs twice a day. What do you think about this with clenbuterol? And what's the difference in T3 and cytomel, thought they were the same.

they are the same thing
why is your doctor prescribing thyroid?
stacking clen with thryoid works but it will suppress your natural thyroid levels even more.
I personally think t-3 should only be taken during a course of anabolics with a high protein diet. this is to minimize muscle catabolism.

Last year I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I had never taken any thyroid medication until then. I'm taking a half tab of Armour for the T4 and my T3 levels just were not responding after months a blood work. My weight loss has always been a problem. Since I've been on the medication my bodyfat has dropped from 26% to 17%. Just trying to get the last 10lbs off. I have a muscular athletic build naturally so I just want to see the muscles better. It's looking good know but were're going for GREAT!!

JUST WANT TO LET YOU KNOW THAT T-3 SUPPLEMENTATION IS USUALLY REPLACEMENT THERAPY FOR LIFE- SO SUPPRESION IS NOT THAT BIG A DEAL IN YOUR CASE.
STILL THE ABOVE APPLIES- YOU NEED TO INCREASE PROTEIN INTAKE AND IT WILL HELO IF YOU ARE TAKING ANABOLICS.

So I really don't have to worry about taking to much as long as I keep the protein intake high? I'm not taking anabolics. I bulk up fairly easy. Thanks for the info.

Are you female? Just wondering, because i've never heard of a young male having thyroid problems. It's very, very rare....
(btw-I'm a healthcare provider)

you need to have a doctor with experience working with athletes to take your levels. As far as I know cytomel and T3 are the same? Ask him why he did this, I'm very curious.

If your Dr. said he was going to switch you from Cytomel to T-3, then I suggest getting a new Dr. He is too stupid and may hurt you or himself.

He knows his stuff and he works with professional athletes alot. I understand t3 and cytomel are the same thing but I used to take three 25mg tabs a day. My t3 levels weren't high enough to burn off any fat yet. I know this sounds like alot but I have a very resistant thyroid. I an now taking a time release upgrade of cytomel in a capsule.I'm taking 50mcgs twice aday for a week. Then 75mcgs for a week, and for ome month i'll be taking 100mcgs and then taper off back to my normal dosage. I had this made especially for me at a pharmacy lab. It's all legal. I am taking this to burn fat, but i do have hypothyroidism so I can take more without all the side effects. I will have to take thyroid medication the rest of my life.

They are the same, but it sounds as though your doctor is having a pharmacy compound the time-release cap for you. I really don't know if it will make much of a difference; I think you just need to find the right dose. Since you're going beyond your replacement dose on the t-3 for a while, it should work quite well w/clen.

Redhot: By far the best thyroid replacement for long-term is Armour as it is organic desiccated pig thyroid. If you need a bottle of natural Armour, you can buy it very easily without a prescription.

Normally Armour dosage is upped every 10 days by 1/2 grain until patient takes 2-grains for an extended period of time. TSH should be between 1.0 and 2.0 for best effect

Anything more than 100mg per day for a women sounds like to much to me. Have you tried ripped fuel or something similar? Upping your cardio, limiting your food intake. Dont let yourself use more drugs as a trade off for better training and diet.

QUI,
About the quote. After months of being on Armour, my T4 was elevated but my T3 didn't respond much. That's what I meant. So I started taking cytomel for that. I can take more than someone who actually doesn't have hypothyroidism. I'm eating right and training hard but for someone who does't have this problem, they don't have a clue how it effects weight gain and loss. It sucks .
