I'll be out of town the rest of the week on business. Any ideas how I can keep up my workouts while i'm gone.

I might catch it for this but here goes, when i cant workout because of my busy college schedule i use rubber stretch cables to do curls and tricep extensions and do excercises like push ups and pull ups for my chest, back, and shoulders. The cables actually hit the muscles at different angles and you might find out that you get sore sometimes.

just my 2 cents,
nate

I agree. If you can't hit the gym for a week use it to your advantage. If I know I can't hit the weights for 4-5 days, I'll just train my balls off for 6 days straight, then use the time off to rest. Or I'll follow my same routine and do the old push ups, chins, etc. routine to failure. I find it shocks my muscles a little b/c I never do it unless I have to. In either case, the time away from the gym is not "lost". Good luck.

I don't know where you're going but when I leave town I can usually find a local gym that charges a slight fee for a workout or a couple of days worth.

I'd find a gym close by if I were you. I stayed in a Marriot outside of Cincinnati this past weekend and they had some machines in there. Nothing special though, and your limited on weight, but enough to get a pump going. They had a couple of bikes, treadmills and stairmasters. Even with my bad hand I got an OK workout. Not everything I'm used to doing or the weight I'm used to pushing around, but enough.
