Are there any studies to support Nizorals effectiveness at reducing the risk of going bald due to DHT? or is it just a commonly held belief (that may be untrue) that it works? IP: Logged |

I've heard several people say it works so I use it. I haven't lost any hair yet so I guess that is a good sign. By using it what do you have to lose? Nothing. By not using it you may have something to lose...your hair. It isn't 100$ a bottle so buy it and if you don't lose any hair then just think for yourself that it works. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Matty, you can buy Nizoral almost anywhere over the counter. Primo is not harsh on the hair but if you are prone to hair loss it couldn't hurt. ghans IP: Logged |

From what I've seen, the over the counter nizoral is 1% but the kind you order from overseas is 2%.I guess its stronger. IP: Logged |

Nizoral originally came out as a prescription medication, but now they sell a weaker version at pretty much any store..I know Target carries it IP: Logged |
