![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The sauna is a very good means of aiding in the circulation of water through your system. In fact you could end all your gym sessions with a visit to the sauna. Everyone is different as far as how long to stay in is but a good reference point is 10 to 20 min. The better circulation of water you have the less you'll retain. If you have the time you can alternate between cold shower for 1 min and sauna for 5 min which increases overall circulation (very beneficial after a workout) Just dont dehydrate yourself in the process. As soon as I'm done in the sauna I'll drink about 16 oz of water. Remember you're not trying to lose weight (unless you're trying to make weight for a particular sport) so drink as much water as you can handle all day and especially after the sauna. IP: Logged |
