This could be a little out of my league, but as no one else has answered I'll give my opinion. I don't think you have much to worry about wth a mild AD such as Zoloft or others in the same family. There are some though that are much heavier(anti phsych's). If there is a serious depression problem that warrents one of the psych drugs I would think about holding off until I was over problems as you do not want a ton of stuff playing on your mood/mind. If you have any reservations ask a doctor or at least do some serious researching on drug profiles as they will tell you what you should not mix. Hope this helps. IP: Logged |

I totally disagree with the post above. The SSRI family of antidepressants like Paxil, Prozac, and Zoloft that everybody thinks are the most harmless are among the worst because they disrupt circadian rhythms and increase prolactin, which decreases testosterone, possibly permanently. Although I think tyrosine, 5HTP, and various herbs are great for depression and anxiety disorders, I understand a lot of people just love their prescription medications. In that case, you might want to check out Serzone, Wellbutrin, or Effexor. They're slightly stimulating and prosexual and may cause slight weight loss. Still, don't go for an antidepressant unless you're sure your problem is nature ... not nurture. IP: Logged |

Oedipus I am aware that a side of Zoloft is decreased sex drive but I didn't realize it was due to drop in test production. Are you sure it is? If thats the case it obviously isn't good for building, but taking T drops production anyway so it may be a way for someone on AD to get back to normal then some. This could be too much little of this little of that though. All I can do is give my best and hope someone out there can pick up any mistakes I make peace IP: Logged |
