Hi guys, I inject my Primo with a 23 gauge, my Winnie with a 26 gauge, which is too thick because when I hold the syringe needle pointing down, sometimes the Winnie comes out. So I will use a 28 or 29 in the future. Here is the question. When hitting a vein with a 29 and you pull back, will blood be seen, because I think blood is too thick to come in the syringe. So in that case you don't know that you are in a vein, right ? On the other hand if blood doesn't come in the syringe, is it enough if you see one or two air bubbles to be sure ? Jeff IP: Logged |

I would just load everything up in the 23 guage and shoot it together. IP: Logged |

Just use an 18 gauge and pound it in with a mallet that way you can be sure. IP: Logged |

As long as you use a length of 1.5" or even 1" and bury it in right place(glutes) you will not be in vein. If you do pull back you will see blood with 29 but I've never seen a 29 except insulin. These could only be used for "spot" , like bi's, etc. you will see blood if you hit though. It would be steady stream of dark red, there will be no question. Still think 29 is too small though. Just get a 16 gauge Lincoln Log, and put it against the glute, then ram your self into the wall to make sure it gets in there...Works for me...Uh oh, I missed my turn at the kerosene chug a lug!! gotta go! ------------------ IP: Logged |
