2.how do I adjust calory intake etc to suit AS ?
3. will I stil gain without carbs ?
4. when Mr Spellwin mentions units of insulin does he mean iu's or ml etc????
also do you have any opinions on the drugs he recommends especially the ppa stack

Ketogenic diet is mostly for contest prep.
You're not going to gain anything on a
ketogenic diet, as a matter of fact, you'll
be so tired you'll hardly be able to get
to the gym. Insulin is measured in ius.
I haven't tried the ppa diet, but I'm
going to shortly, summer's coming.

yea the saint is right, im doing his program now and in the 1st week and am starting to feel lethargic, make sure you do your larger/troublke areas early in the week or youll be to tired to preform with the larger groups later on, on sunday night my last carb meal was a serving of cell tech and some peaches, then i used 3ius, 2hrs later 3ius, 2hrs later 2ius and was at 55mg/ml on the meter, throughout the week i've been holding steady at 30-40, and deep purple on the ketostix, bye bye fat

SOrry for the really basic email reply that I sent you. In my opinion this diet would really suck while on even a mild cycle. You would play hell even contolling your insulin levels. I don't know what gear you're using now and what condition you're in but you might try something like this since you have 6 months to play with. Assuming you train in the PM: Aeobice in the am prior to brkfst. Try to consume minor, minor amounts of carbs at brkfst and lunch and dinner, prior to training and or with dinner consume fast acting carbs. Train. After training again consume a carb meal. Animal had an outline like this posted. I don't agree with all of his research and his timing methods but in general it is a sound plan which will allow you to burn fat and still make gains. Email me if you need more info.
