![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() how do you know for sure if you have shin splints? my legs a pretty ripped, especially my calfs and shin muscles, and they are burning!!! im mean bad , i got on the tread mill and couldent even run a mile, the right one started burning like it was literally on fire! i tried streching them out by grabing my toes and pulling the foot backwards, but no relief, i cant even do cardio now. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Based on all my shin splint experience being a former distance runner that sounds like what I would consider shin splints are you getting cramping also in your shin muslces? what kind of shoes are you doing cardio in? are you wearing any kind of orthotics in your shoes? do you have flat arches in your feet? high arches or normal arches? does it bother you just on a treadmill or with all running? Email me with the answers to these questions I might be able to offer some advice based on what you tell me. I've been through it very often for along time, don't worry your going to be able to get in cardio one way or another. Keep Pumping IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I had the same problem, when I put on wait suddenly and try to taper by doing some running. Ice them after each cardio session, run on dirt or asphalt if not a treadmill..stay away from concrete. I had to do other forms of cardio for a little over 5 weeks then took it to a treadmill. Icing is a bitch, but it will help. hope that helps... Slopain IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() alright texas, this is the deal, i do have flat feet, and that is exactly what it feels like a bad cramp like youve never felt b4, in the front part of the shin , from right under the knee, to the top of the foot! as far as footwear, just running sneaks.... and these hurt no mattter what even walking, but usally they burn while joggin only for the 1st mile or so then i goes away, but lately the pain is unbearable!
