Guys,

Just a question .... wanted more answers that's why I posted it hear instead of on the training board.

What do you think about doing a musclegroup twice a week. Let say chest on monday and thursdays. Then 3/4 excercises with 3 sets of max 8 reps. Because i thought each musclegroup ones a week is to little training.

Well guys your opinion on this.

Ronnie Coleman trains his bodyparts tiwce a week - he seems to have reasonable size.
I don't think he employs a 3/4 type approach. Full bore all the way. I would imagine that you would have to be well supplimented in order to be able to do this and not ending up overtraining though.

Well i don't feel overtrained I guess.

Eat my carbs and protein.

Is once a week also enough then. Maybe it's me but working your chest once a week for 3 /4 excercises can make you grow also ? Just can't believe that.

But I'm a novice in training and not as big as u guys, so maybe i should train more.

I'm about 6'2 170 lbs and low on bodyfat and train only 2 years

sometimes I train a bodypart 6 times in a week! With the Serious Growth program. Of course the more often you train a bdyprt the smaller the # of sets, when I am at 4+ times per week the sets drop to 3 per bdyprt,not per exercise per bdyprt. With 20 years of training under my belt I can definitly say this works better than 20 sets once a week.

if you are training 6 times a week you must be on a shit load of gear and must eat like a monster if your still making good gains.

I only trian each body part 1 a week but with high intenstity, i mean high. Me and bush pig have had huge gains in this. I think if your a beginer stick with once or twice a week no more.

That is some routine. I good to hear your making ggod gains. what gear you using. I am intrested as you say recently, i am quite new to the gear game myself although me and bushpig have been training for 4 years and I am well read on gear.

I started with a primo, winny stack and found great results and is goog for beginers.

I wouldn't use more than 3/4 exercises a bodypart but really go at them.

I have found using a 10, 8, 6, 15 number of reps works for each drill

e.g. bench - 60kg for 10, 80kg for 8, 100kg for six, then 60kg again for 15. You should only just make the 6, maybe even need a little spot. The 15 will hurt like a son of a slut, the burn should be unreal. Obviously adjust the weights as for how strong you are.

I train a body part a day for 4 days and then arms (bi's and tri's) on the fifth. If you work hard as possible on each drill you will see good gains.

Monday - chest

Bench
Incline bench
dumbbell flies

Tuesday - back

Chins
bent over row
pull overs
power cleans

Wednesday - legs

squats
leg press
leg extensions
hamstring curls

Thursday - shoulders

overhead press
standing side laterals
front raises
bent over laterals
Calves

Friday - Bi's, Tri's

Standard curls with an EZ bar
Preachers
Standing cable curls

Close Grip bench
Skull crushers
Dips

I will also do 3x 40 sit ups every day.

Usually working out for around an hour so testosterone drop doesn't come into play. Protein shake straight after training and carbs during the workout.

Sat and Sunday off.

I have been training for 3 year (ish)

I am 6'7 and weigh around 250 with pretty low body fat. Its worked for me, I've put on around 10 lbs since switching from my last routine.

I was off gear for almost 10 years have been back on for almost 1 1/2 years just started cycle 14 days ago...strength kicked in at day 12 body weight up fron 230 to low 240s am on the 3 rd page of lifting cycle as of yesterday...this is were the weird shit starts..chest back thighs and calfs will be worked 5 times a week.should see freaky strength weght and size gains in the next 5 weeks..at the moment am doin around 600mgs of test per week and 20mgs of dbol....once my order comes in I will drop the dbol and will be addin 400mg of deca per week and 300 mgs of eqapoise...have never done that much deca...could only get 50mg vials at 14 $ per....so only did 100mgs per week and I have never done eq.

You sound like my kind of guy deepsquat

What do you reckon of this cycle i am about to do.
8 weeks of deca and d-bol
with nolvadex and proviron

then 2 week break
then continuing with 8 weeks of primo and winny to prevent a lot of loss and harden up what i have gained. It is cycle 1 in the back of the world anabolic review 96.

2 things 2 weeks is not much of a break..I belive that taking both proveron and nolvadex is redundant..just take the nolvadex. But the consenses on this board seems tobe to take Clomid every other day orat least for 2 weeks at the end of your cycle to keep your nuts in working order.. And to just keep the Nolvadex on hand in case you start to feel the signs of gyno developing.And yes I forgot in my last post to mention that I am takin Clomid

personally i like 2 days on 1 day off;

monday: chest/tri's
tuesday: back/bi's/calves
wednesday: off
thursday: shoulders/traps
fridays: quads/hams/calves
saturday: off
sunday: repeat


when on a cycle i like to get everything in three days instead off four, so i train each bodypart twice a week.
