![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I first started using gear at 16.(Jr. in high school) Some friends and I used D-ball. Gained weight and strength. Senior year, I layed out of football because I already had several colleges looking at me for baseball. I was a pitcher, a lefty at that. Senior year, I went on two cycles: the first just d-ball and the second, test and d-ball. You can imagine how much my strength went up! First, steroids are going to affect your joints. Especially at a young age when you are still growing. Second, your body is already making enough testosterone! At my biggest highschool game, there where several college scouts present. No shit, I caught a hellafide WOODY!! Harder than 10 pounds of jawbreakers! IT WOULD NOT GO AWAY. Imagine trying fold your unit in half to fit in your cup! I had to tape it to my waist just so I could pitch. Thank God the swelling when down in about an hour or so. As a teen, you dont need more hormones! Let me finish up. I did get a full ride to college. After two years, my elbow was shot! My knees were shot. My shoulder was shot! I could have been drafted, no doubt. Did steriods help me? HELL NO!!!!!!! Now I get up and sell insurance instead of being a Big Leaguer. Learn from my mistake. Your joints are still growing and gaining that much strength in such a short time frame will punish them. God gave me the natural ability to excell and I abused that privledge. Ole the glory days!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() In a way I have to sort of disagree with you. The reason being is that when I wasn't on AS I had made gains of upping my bench by 50lbs in one month and taking my squat up 100lbs in about 3 months. So wouldn't that mean that my joints would be bad too. But they are not. I was getting extreme strength and size gains in a short amount of time just like on AS so it is not necessarily true. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I agree with you, teens should wait. I had a friend that I played high school football with; the dude was huge, 15 yrs old 5'11 265 benched close to 400 and squatted over 500 with a bad knee (on juice). Coach Jerry Dinardo of LSU came to our school to scout Cecil Collins and scouted him as well and told him that if he grew one more inch he could get a scholarship as a lineman....eventually both of his knees went bad and so did one of his shoulders and the dude never grew that one little inch. Now he is sitting at home taking care of his little baby and being a bum.....juice can fuck up your joints and growth plates bad, especially while in your teens...but I can see where you guys who disagree are coming from... The summer I first starrted lifting I put 200 lbs on my squat and about 60lbs on my bench. I was 170 natural and only benching about 230 but I could squat about 480 and I still had joint problems in my knees and I messed by lower back up real bad....its all a risk when your lifting but I cant see why you would risk even more than you have to...just my opinion, sorry if I ranted [This message has been edited by Capt'n_Crunch (edited April 17, 2000).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() i think your joint problem has more to do with your lifting technique than the juice, im not that old(18) and am on my 3rd cycle and haven't had problems but i also dont lift as much as i can, when my strength starts getting real high i use pre-exhaution and supersets instead to not stress the joints IP: Logged |

You seen that huge fucker thats like 6'8 or 6'9 and weighs like 350 or something.....I saw this past seasons jamboree against Pickering, the dude sucks and he was rated as one of the top lineman in the state...LOL what a joke. But I still hate Eunice....hahaha...I guess your from Eunice then ???? [This message has been edited by Capt'n_Crunch (edited April 18, 2000).] IP: Logged |
