What can I do to get myself motivated. I havent been to the gym in over 6 weeks and I feel like a piece of shit. Not to mention im starting to look like shit. What causes periods of lazyness followed by depresion and guilt???

6 weeks???? wow. i feel bad if i waste a weekend. if i went 6 weeks i would definitely go back and hit it up with basics, rekindle your interest. eat like a madman. and put on a quick 5lbs, after a layoff like that you should be fresh and your body will be ready to go. good luck.

Well, you need a "why". Some of the boys here compete in shows, some of them are pro-wrestlers, some want to look good for the girls, and others want to scare small children by taking off their shirt. But whatever the reason, you will definately need a serious "why" in order to get you to the gym each day. Without it, you may be doomed.

when i'm lazy, I just think of all the other athletes that might be training and becoming bigger and better than me.

shit 6weeks is long, but i'm out for 6months due to back surgery. I'm not looking forward to it, but i just remember that there's always someone thats worst off. So maybe that can motivate you. Good luck!!!
