![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I do that quite frequently, but I always alternate between sets and do a maximum of 3 exercises between muscle groups. I like doing: /straight bar curls/Close-grip bench/Preachers/nose-crushers/hammers/single arm overheads. Listen to your body - you know your recovery capacities the best - it also correlates with your diet, rest, and gear. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I just that yesterday. My arms are hurting like shit already!!! Iprobably won't be able to lift a bar of soap by tommorrow. I usually blast my arms like that, once a week. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah good ol Mike Matarazzo preaches that he likes to work fore/bi's/tri's the same day. He went off on about some reasons about this, but I forgot them. I've been doing it ever since- seemed reasonable. He recommended taking a day off after working arms or atleast doing leg work or cardio. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I think it is better to work bi's and tri's the same day. That way you can superset them and work the shit out of them. Back in Arnolds day supersets were the shit and I think people have lost touch with just how beneficial they are. I love to do supersets and of course giantsets for my arms. I think that is one of the best way to make them grow. Of course you can't do them every week but you can interchange them with basic heavy lifts and days with lighter lifts. Good luck! giantset IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I used to do bis/tris/shoulders and this was just too much to do in one day, so I switched to bis/tris/forearms and have noticed a lot better growth from this. I like to do opposing muscles groups on the same day, like chest/back on the same day. It works well for me. Good luck ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ive been doing bis and tris in the same day for along time and i think thats responsible for fucking up my tendons in my left elbow, i used to superset straight bar curls with skullcrushers, now if i did that id start crying cuz my tendons would hurt so bad IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I love it, nothing better than having your arms about to burst after supersetting back and forth between the two for an hour or so. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Primo sounds like he's learned how to make arm gains the right way-not overtraining!!!! 3 groups max per tri/bi. I do 3 sets of 3 at 3 different exercises for bi's and then again the same for tris. The arms are way worked in every bodypart save legs and abs and therefore DO NOT need as much "time" but they do need intensity!!! 30 minutes arms-separate, legs next day. Arms need rest and then they shall grow-from one who has learned thru failure! IP: Logged |
