Why do the bodybuilders in the 70's have super small waist and now they look pregnant. I know that HGH grow internal tissue, but didn't they take 'em back in the day?

no back in the day it was not yet synthetically made. it was only available in cadavers so it was not used widely.

hGh used to be extracted from cadavers. now a synthetic version is used by most. i dont believe they got test from a cadaver, just gh.

First, test was not extracted from animals or humans and sold commercially. All androgens were made synthetically. GH is another story. The original GH was extracted from cadavers and had the possibility to cause Creuzfeldt-Jakobs disease (a human Mad-Cow disease). Now GH is made through recombinant-DNA technology.

Second, the increase in gut size of today is due to the use of high dose test, GH and insulin, which all increase the visceral adipose content. The abdomens are distended due to fat buildup under the stomach muscles, not subcutaneous fat. This is the hardest fat to remove for men, also.
