Just because your huge doen't mean you will do well in bodybuilding contests. Look at flex wheeler, he competes at 225 lbs, and is able to consistently beat nasser and dillet who are 280+ Kovacs has terrible shape and symmetry. He gets killed in contests because of this, and that is why he stays away. If he continues to enter and get beat, he will loose all of his hype as being the strongest and the biggest, which he makes a living off of. If he cant beat a 230 lb guy, people will say yeah, you compete at 310, but so what, you ain't shit.

Myth, you refering to that article MuscleMag ran on that dude? I've read other articles where people tried to get Kovacs to measure up in public and he wouldn't do it. He's got big guns, but he's got big gut bloat to match. I saw him at last year's Olympia expo and he looked like a big ball o' dung. I can't deny he's huge or that it's impressive that he's huge. If he's going to compete, he should do it and take what he gets. I bet he gets slaughtered, but that's just my humble opinion. I wonder when he's going to keel over. You gotta figure he's probably got one foot in the grave already.

He makes tons of money w/out competing so why would he compete. I think I saw somewhere that he mad like 1 million dollars last year. You have to give him credit for his size though. He looked much better about 3 years ago.

You would think he would at least have world records in the power lifting movements. Or compete in a strong man competition or powerlifting events.
How about that 277lb. 30yr. old Glen Chabot at the Arnold classic benching 722lbs. as written in Powerlifting USA. Now there is strength. Maybe Kovaks ought to enter next year.

Kovacs will be competeing in the Toronto pro international in May to try and qualify for the Mr. Olympia. Kovacs is with no doubt the worlds strongest and biggest man there has ever been. He will surely freak some people out when he competes next month.

Don't knock someone unless you know them personally. I met Kovacs at then Nationals one year. He was actually really cool. The man has a lot of information, and unlike some pro bodubuilders, is not afraid to discuss some issues that many of you discuss openly here (hint).

If you have a chance to meet him in person, do so. The information that you come across can only help you (if you know what I mean).

KOVACS \MAY BE A LOT OF HYPE BUT HE IS ONE STRONG MO-FUCKER. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO MOVED TO HIS AREA BACK ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO. MY FRIEND WAS IN A BENCH COMP. I saw him once in a gym in Mississauga Ontario Canada where I belive he has a house, I went over and spoke with him a little and he seemed very polite shy and a little dim but overall very nice. He was also fucking huge to meet in person. My friend was good buddies with the gym owner and he told him that Kovacks has had a number of Heart attacks and is driven on by his Wife to whom he is totally subserviant. Apparantly she is driving him on to get bigger and bigger for the money and doesnt care about the side effects. I also heard he is from Western canada originally and grew up on a cattle ranch hence his early experimentation with cattle products, but once again this is all gossip that has gone through many channels, I would be interested if anyone could confirm or deny what I heard.

LET ME TELL YOU..... KOVACS is not the best role model for any part of bodybuidling and or powerlifting ANYTHING. I met him at a local Musclemag store here on Long Island and all I can say is DICK. His attitude was like smelling dog shit. HORRIBLE. First off yea the guy is big but when he is sweating his balls off from all the shit he is on that is sick. The guy had more beads of sweat flowing off his head than a heavy rain storm. Yea I give the guy credit he is huge and INTIMIDATING but his attitude towards the public BLEW. At least he can act like he wanted to be there. Just to ask for a pic with him I thought he would RAGE on my ass... And for all of you that think he should compete? He did and he placed like shit cause he looks like a freak. He comes in Bloated and just out of it. He should lay off some shit... Maybe he wouldn't have such a piss ass attitude and smile when people see that they are there for him and he should respect the position he has and use it for good promotion of the sport.
