you can take them to a hospital and they will dispose of them, but you should probably prepare a good answer to an inevitable question or you might get lucky and they just won't ask. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I put mine in small trash bag, close it up tightly, and drop it in a subway garbage can (they're set up to prevent bums from rooting through them) at a stop nowhere near my house. IP: Logged |

You can go to any pharmacy and get a sharps container for insuln syringes. They are desighned so pins without shilds won't fall out. They also are colored orange or red with the medical waster symbol on the outside so others will be creful around it. I bring my old darts to a needle exchange & just let them have them. They only have isulin syringes for exchange, but I'd rather give my old darts to someone who will dispose of them safely. I live in the city and see people going through the trash all the time. I would not feel right if someone stuck themselfs on one of my points. I feel that if I'm going to use AS, I should be responsible for the safty of others. If you don't know want to go to an excchange or can't find one, I'm sure a hospital or med center would take them for you. Later-John IP: Logged |
