I am supposed to train chest and tri's tonight, but I have not been feeling great today - tight chest, mildly sore throat, and a mild headache.

I haven't missed a workout in 4 months and I am dying to get to the gym tonight!!!

How ill should one feel before calling it quits and going home to rest up for another day? The last thing I want to do is compromise my recent gains.

You should stop training till you feel OK,
you probably won't get a decent work out if you feel sick anyway.

i would go and hit it and see how you feel after a couple of light sets, if you still feel like shit quit and get some rest, so you can live to train another day! good luck.
