nolvadex supposedly has fat burning properties. alot of people say that nolvadex will cut the amount of gains you get on a cycle, but could the decrease in lean body mass be due more to fat loss than muscle loss?

i don't know how much fat nolvadex burns, but say it burns 2/3 of a lb. a week. That is a safe number. and you are doing a 10 week sustenon cycle. normally the cycle would give you 25 lbs. of muscle but with the loss of 6 2/3 lbs. of fat due to the nolvadex you will only gain about 18 lbs. at the end of your cycle. So if you do a sust cycle you will gain 25 lbs. but if you do a sust/nolvadex cycle you will only gain 18 lbs. But the muscle gain will be the same.

what i am trying to say is maybe nolvadex isn't as bad as we think. maybe the reason you come up about 7 lbs. short of what you would normally gain on a cycle is due more to nolvadex burning 7 lbs. of fat and not to nolvadex preventing 7 lbs. of muscle growth.

macro seems to know alot about this. i don't know if nolvadex cuts into mass gains or not. but i believe that the main reason you gain less bodyweight on a cycle when you take nolvadex is because nolvadex burns fat. Giving the appearance of less muscle gains.

Like i said, say a cycle of sust will build 25 lbs. in 10 weeks. and that nolvadex will burn 2/3 of a lb. of fat a day.

what that means is that you will come up about 7-8 lbs. lighter post cycle on a nolvadex/sustenon cycle than you would on a sustenon alone cycle. but the lessened bodyweight might be due mainly, if not solely, to the fact that nolvadex is burning fat and not due to it preventing muscle growth.

I don't know about fat loss, why would it?less estrogen in the body to some extent,so maybe less water retention although its site specific,as far as I know anyone serious about gains won't touch it anymore it blocks the enzyme needed by your liver to produce igf-1.That is why you are lighter ,less muscle not more fat loss.

I think stalin was using 2/3 lbs as a theoretical number...as for the igf-1 thing...i don't think that nolvadex would really cut that much out of your gains because of that....I think everyone says that because someone else says....
