Read about these in Mesomorphesis and was wondering if any one tried it and what results you got, or just give me your opnion. They are claiming you can put on 15 lb and not shut down your axis. IP: Logged |

there are many variables at stake there. for one thing, some people make really good gains the first 2-3 weeks, then the gains stop coming after that, even if they are on for 10 weeks. some people don't start to notice gains until week 5. so if you are in the former group you probably won't benefit much from a 2 week cycle. also on the meso cycle, the guy took clomid the whole way through his cycle. and he took omandren, dianabol & prohormones post cycle to increase test levels and lower cortisol. so basically, the 15 lbs. is probably a "best of the best" case scenario. a normal person might get 8-10 lbs. on a 2 week cycle. I've done the 3 week cycle deal -- well, actually, I'm just finishing it up. (It's hard to do a 2 week cycle unless you use ALL short acting drugs). For week one I took an amp of primotest (200mg enanthate, 50mg prop) every other day for a total of 750mg. I then used a couple of dbol and some fina (only short acting drugs I had sitting around here) with clomid EOD. I started week 3 today and I'm up about 6lbs and I have noticably dropped some bodyfat (probably due to the t3 and clen that I'm also taking and forgot to mention.) So, if you calculate the increase in bodyweight with the decrease in bodyfat, I'd say it's very possible and realistic to gain 10lbs of muscle in three weeks without shutting down your natural test down. So far, zero acne (usually gets kinda bad at the end of my 8-10 week traditional cycles) and zero noticable side effects. I hope that was helpful. Now someone please read my post "Need help designing winny/eq/fina cycle" and help me out! IP: Logged |

CalKid, that's the right way to do it. I advocate a higher dose on the front load, but otherwise OK. 6 lbs total gain along w/ fat loss is decent for this cycle. IP: Logged |

That short cycle theory is bullshit. What actually are you preventing by staying on for only two weeks? Take clomid if you want your nuts to stay on track. If you can handle it for 2 weeks you can handle it for 8. I used to think short cycles would be a good idea, but it is just a waste of time. Short cycles are a yo-yo effect. why take 3 steps forward and one back when you can take 10 steps forward and one back. IP: Logged |

Blond Myth, short cycles do work, but there is a specific protocol that must be followed. I used 3wks on/2 wks off, followed by 2 wks on/2-3 wks off, then repeat. It's done more for convenience when cycling on a long-term basis than to prevent HPTA shutdown (clomid is part of the protocol I used). I'm currently on a conventional 8-wk cycle, but I probably will use the short cycle again. IP: Logged |

youre all missing a point on the two week cycle shit, which I think is the most important one... its the fact that you keep a great part of your gains. This has two main reasons, one is the mentioned earlier (the fact that your system dont shut down), and the other one is that modest gains are easier for the body to handle.... theres a big difference with adding for eg 30lbs than only 8lbs for eg. try reading the nelson montana article titled "steroids for health"
these short cycles have great benefits to have your body go few lbs over your natural limit, but for the bb whos thinking of 300lbs+ forget it. IP: Logged |

i knew someone who gained 5 lbs. off a 2 week cycle. it is a personal biological thing though. just hope you aren't one of those people who doesn't start to notice anything from drugs until the 5th week. hopefully you are someone whose gains build up rapidly the first few weeks then burn off and don't come very fast the rest of the cycle.
