At about 10-12 days out, cut out all direct leg and ab work. Pose your legs (and abs)every day. You don't want them so pumped that your cuts are obscured. This is something that Gironda used to recommend and I've seen people get good results from it. Everything else sounds OK.

If you really arer at 4% bodyfat then you have nooooooo more fat to loose(do the math...200 lbs x.04= 8 lbs) Do you think you can drop to 0%? Either you are at a higher % then you think or you are holding a whole lot of water... in which case a shit load of leg work and aerobic won't help anyway....even with a higher BF% a shit load of leg work won't help you to spot reduce an area...or else we would all have ripped arms...right?

i am 160 at 4 % 4 1/2 weeks out. my abs, chest, arms, triceps are alll strirated. i have evins in my legs just not deep cutz yet. don't know how you do your math but i know the oils played a part of this and i am now off them. my upper body if you saw me at this point you would not have made that remark.( ask ones who have seen me) its water my legs caliper at 6 they need to be at 4 so there is not much fat.

4% is low, but not low enough to compete. ANd yes, you can't get to 0%, but you can get to 1.5% bf (cause I have been there). 8lbs of fat is a lot, contrary to what has been said.
Hell, you've seen my pics flexed, so if I am off base, correct me.

If your legs are smooth, then chances are you are doing too much legwork.

Also, don't confuse cuts with striations. What you may see as lack of cuts may just be lack of cross striations. Those may be genetic, as they are with me. Believe it or not. my legs are the first to come in when I am preparing.

I wouldn't sweat it. The two areas that I would mainly be concerned with is the glutes and the lower back. If those areas are smooth, then that means you are not holding fat but water.

I know this won't help, but remember it took me three shows to get everything right. THen when I had it right, I changed it and blew it the next show.

You have my number, give me a holler if you want to discuss it. Also, I would like to see you in the next week to see if most of this is psycological. I know your nutritionist, and if he says you are on track, then you can bank on his words.

thanks, saw a national comp in the gym this morning while doing cardio he said cuts are there and with 4 weeks i will be fine. shit 4% at 4 weeks to me is perfect as I seem to lose 1/2 % every two weeks so that puts me at 3% tha dieurectic water reduction last week should put me in at 2.5% according to my trainer. Alot of what you said is it maybe in my mind you know how bad i want this and trust me it will be mind in the end. thnaks for the response.
