androx Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 272)	posted April 11, 2000 12:59 PM The issue of whether or not customs will let you bring back Lutalyse from Mexico didn't seem to get any sure answers on the board so I wrote customs and this is how they replied: Lutalyse is a product that is covered by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA Senior Import Specialist at the Port of Laredo (956-790-1743) was contacted. We were informed that this product would require a Formal Customs Entry (CF7501), even if the item is not in commercial quantities. The reason for this is that eventually the animal that is given this chemical will be put on the market for human consumption. After the shipment arrives, FDA would determine the admissibility of the Lutalyse. The filing of a Formal Customs Entry requires a bond and can be done by an individual, however we suggest that enlist the services of a Customs House Broker. DYLAN Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 129)	posted April 11, 2000 01:18 PM Well, if the letter is legit it says you need a formal Customs Entry (which also reqires a bond...more$$)....and they will ship it. Then the FDA will come in and tell you if it is alright to use it on your livestock. Sounds like too much bullshit to go through, just sneak it across. Or try telling the FDA that it is for personal use...hehe. D. IP: Logged
androx Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 272)	posted April 11, 2000 02:03 PM Conan I felt the same damn way when they replied, and yes Dylan this letter is legit. From what I understand, they didn't really answer the question completely. I'm not sure but this is what I think it means: You apparently cannot bring it across yourself. You have to claim it and then they will take it from you and check the admissability of it with the FDA and then ship it to you if it is okay. I'm not sure if the FDA will allow it to be shipped in or not. And also I would be fucked if they decided to ask for proof that I was using it on cattle. So unless someone can clarify this letter differently, I don't think I would want to go through the hasstle of claiming it. androx [This message has been edited by androx (edited April 11, 2000).] IP: Logged
