IN AN EARLIER POST SOMEONE UNDER THE NAME MILKMAN- ATTACKED MY POST ON THE EFFECTS OF METHANDRIOL- WELL HE WAS WRONG AND HIS LOGIC WAS WRONG AS WELL SO HERE IT IS- THE EVIL EFFECTS OF SHBG TESTOSTERONE, OR ANY ANDROGEN FOR THAT MATTER, THAT IS BOUND TO SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) IS NOT ACTIVE- THE TYPES OF ANDROGENS THAT ARE ACTIVE ARE FREE AND WEAKLY BOUND- WHICH MEANS BOUND TO ALBUMIN- NOT TO SHBG. methandriol supposedly works by decreasing either production of SHBG or it binds to SHBG more strongly than some or all androgens- thus "free-ing" them. so this basically means- in more scientific words that Free and weakly bound testosterone (FWBT), also referred to as bioavailable testosterone, is thought to reflect an individual's biologically active, circulating testosterone. FWBT includes free testosterone and testosterone that is bound to albumin. FWBT does not include sex hormone binding globulin-bound testosterone. The SHBG-bound fraction is biologically inactive because of the high binding affinity of SHBG for testosterone. The rapid dissociation of "weakly bound" testosterone from albumin results in the availability of essentially all albumin-bound testosterone for steroid-receptor interaction ------------------ [This message has been edited by macrophage69alpha (edited April 11, 2000).] IP: Logged |

Thanks for the info Macro. Obviously this means Denkadiol has to be stacked with a/s to fully utilize it's effects. Would there be any difference using a highly androgenic or anabolic compound? IP: Logged |

it really depends upon their affinity for binding to SHBG- which seems to vary quite a bit- some are not bound at all. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Macro, i have some drive which contains 30 mg/ml methandriol dipropionate. would it make sence to include this in my next cycle.. what would be the minimun effective dose ? Thanks dutch IP: Logged |
