magnum357 Amateur Bodybuilder (Total posts: 20)	posted April 10, 2000 10:43 PM What steroids if any weaken tendons, ligaments, or joints and may cause injuries from weakness such as knees, shoulders. etc. I have heard that steroids put out a mutated collagen that causes tendons and things to weaken. Having said that (I'm a real skeptic), I was on winstrol/equipoise and tore my right calf. Fucked me up pretty bad. Couldn't compete last year. Now, I'll attribute this to overtraining, and handling WAY to much weight on the leg press (fully loaded) the night before... So chalk my experience up to another anecdotal bit of evidence.
