Hey, been reading a lot, and think Im going to hold off on the gear for a little while. I have been working out casualy for a few years, but seriously for 6 months, and I have become stronger, but I have not put on size or weight like I would have liked to. Is it wrong and or stupid to want to do a cycle to give me some size for motivation? I have a lot of motivation to get to gym, but when you dont see results after a while it pisses me off. Im not afraid of gear, just not sure if it right for me. I want to get bigger, but I feel I should exhaust all other resources first. I dont know.. I go back and forth on this every day.. I fully admit that I want to get bigger for cosmetic reasons, but I dont think that is bad. I'm just a little guy 5'9 - 155#'s who is tired of being little. The problem is I have a heart that doesnt match my body. I'll be the first one to stand up to some jackass picking on some one smaller.. and I've been beat down by those larger guys too.. but it has always been for doing the right thing.
I really trust, and respect most of you here, if I'm not a pro body builder is using AS just going to be a big mistake for me?
Who knows, I might just say fuck you and use them anyway, but I will really think about it, and at least because of you people, If I do use them, I will use them right.

If I were you I would stick wiht basic, heavy, movements and do the mass building exercises like squats, power cleans, bench presses, military presses, deaadlifts etc. and not try to get involved with any "body building schemes" lke high reps and light weights. try using cell--tech and nitro- tech if you can afford it, and eat like a horse. go to the gym and go hard lift three times a week hard as hell and get plenty of rest. as for the getting beat up try getting involved in some form of martial arts. learn a form like that and you can kick some serious ass no matter what size you are.

You are always better off to reach your maximum level naturally. WHatever weight that you achieve naturally will always reamin with you. You haven't honestly trained hard enough for long enough to reach any conclusions about your gear usage. I'm 5'9" and was once 150 lbs...many years ago. Through a great diet and ahrd work before the source I hit 185. Over the years (19) I've managed to bring my non cycle weight up to the 200- 205 level. No matter what happens, I'll always keep this weight, or close to it(+-10%). Great example is after my pec tear and surgery, no training for about 1 year, my weight never went below 185. After a few light weeks in the gym I went back easily to 200. It's always easier and safer to build ona solid base. When you are really ready for the gear, you'll know it. I'd say just by asking this question that you know you're really not ready. If you need some diet and or training help, feel free to mail me.

I'm 29 and just started my first cycle and have been making immpressive gains.

I started working out at 21 yo 6'3" 170 lbs (looked like shaggy from scooby do) and got to 220lbs both at about 9%bf naturally--it took me 8 years--4 of them "hardcore". Most of the gains came in the first 2-3 years. The last 20 lbs took me the rest. I consider myself a hardgainer and my whole family is naturally very thin.

I think 220 is my natural limit or pretty darn close. I tried every sort of diet, training methods, and supps before I even had the notion of trying juice. I've tried every weight gain powder from that crappy weider stuff that came in a dogfood bag to the newest MRP's.

Now that I tried I'm doing good but I'm glad I waited. It might have made those gains quicker with juice but at least I have a solid natural "220" base to build from.

For me it took time to build the right habits
in eating, training, and being able to say no to alcohol even before I started.

I'm hardly an expert but I'd say wait. If your body is able to support "x" amount of weight and you suddenly add 20-25 lbs you may lose it quicker than if you had weighed more to begin with--reguardless of what you do post cycle.

And I will say that I see clearly that AS can be VERY psychologically addictive--you will feel great and get an awesome pump every time you are at the gym. It's not heroin but it's not Freddie Flinstone vitamins either.

For me I started off with a goal and I want to use AS to reach it. So be careful and realise AS are a means to an end not a means all their own. I'll shut up now cuz' I'm rambling--this is my opinion only--actual milage may vary :-)

for starters..your food intake probably sucks..if you were training properly..and eating..you shouldn't be 155 to begin with

Forget MRP's, use something like Extreme XXL as an MRP instead. Its a 1070 calorie drink, sorta has the consistancy of bacon grease, but it's good for getting the calories you want/need.

I agree with everybody about food intake. Your diet is most important here man. You can't grow if you won't eat. Food is your fuel for growing. Gotta have that high protein as well if you want your muscles to feed and grow. Get your diet down, and intensify your workouts. You should gain without AS, but it'll definitely help.
