I'm from East Rockaway, LI. I'm a small young 'un who trains at Powerhouse in Lynbrook. Got a friend (a much bigger one) that trains at Dolphin in Farmingdale.

Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. Where do you NYC guys work out. I'm Bally Sports Club. I mostly workout at 42nd by Grand Central and 50th St and 8th. I don't think I see any of you there because when I look around, I am the only sweating, grunting, veiny, hog there. Am I wrong?

I've trained at both dolphins (levittown and f'dale) and frankly i think they both suck! I go to Fitness 2000 in F'dale i think anyone around there should check it out, the atmosphere to me seems more hardcore and everyone gets down to business when theyre there. Just my two cents, no offense to anyone who goes to dolphin.

wow i posted this topic once b4 without any responses and now look at it...Keep it going guys...Never heard of fitness2000 but its kinda by me so maybe i'll check it out.. I know that Dolphin in Farmingdale sux. Its really small and gross. Eastern Athletic is huge and really new and nice if you wanna check that out..Theres one on Pinelawn Rd which should be pretty close to you but i have never been there b/c i go to the one by me but you could give that one a try too. Keep this Board Pumpin!

I have a few friends that work out at fitness 2000.. what was it called b4 that?? i 4got... well im not leaving dolphins im so used to it.. and i dont see anything wrong with it.. its a great gym.. besides my membership dont run out for a while..

What's up Long Islanders?

I'm in Northport. I train at Gold's at Deer Park - if you're ever in there, I'm probably wearing a Florida State shirt.......

I like the gym - it's hardcore and keeps me focused when I train - I used to work out at Gold's East Northport but it's pretty much junk.

Anyone ever want to talk or whatever just email me.

Fitness 2000 used to be Ken's a couple of years ago..... I dont think Dolphins is terrible but i like the atmosphere at Fitness a little better, not sure why, just suits me better. Anyone been to the new Powerhouse gym i think its im Farmingdale too, someone told me its awesome i might go take a look. Keep this shit going LI and NY

No flame bro, but you consider that upstate? I'm from Utica (near Syracuse). That's 4 hours from the city and people consider it central NY. Usually true upstate is near the Canadian border.

But I know what you mean, bro. Alot of people say upstate about aything away from the city.

That Powerhouse i mentioned is right off of route 110 i think its considered farmingdale but it might be melville, not sure. It opened not long ago, supposed to be good, we'll see.
