I do them four times per week in hopes of showing some def. I have some fat around my waist that I need to lose before I show any real def. I know diet is 80%. Besides diet, should I do my abs this much? Or should I do them once per week? I currently do three sets of thirty five in a crunch and on both obliques. I would appreciate some incite. IP: Logged |

Definitely try a variety of exercises. My abs seem to get used to movements very easily and become less effective. Worked out with Flexed1 this weekend and he showed me some new and very effective exercises to work parts of the abs no one else seems to know about. Dont let your abs get accustomed to three of four exercises, but trade up your routines for maximum results. Mrs. Guns IP: Logged |

vescovo21 Just like you said....diet is the key to bringing out true definition in the abdominal area. As for training, I don't feel you're overworking the abs at 4 times per week (although I'm sure some will dispute this). I have worked my abs 6 days per week for the last 3 years, and despite my current 14.7% body fat I have a visible 8-pack. Each day I use a different variety of movements to isolate the lower, mid, and upper abs. Hope this helps. SSMAN IP: Logged |

ive read that the abs rejuvenate very quickly , and therefor you can do them everyday... but diet and variety are key! ------------------ IP: Logged |

I work my abs four times a week. You can never get your abs too strong. Always vary your reps and try giant sets, cause they are excellent for that red hot burn. IP: Logged |
