I might get a few people upset with this but�.Has anyone thought the real reasons why most drugs, including AS are illegal? My thoughts are because the government tries to prevent people from getting hurt. Most people here know what they are doing and those same people also know that there are always high risks. Besides any of you guys had any serious problems getting sauce? I don�t think so. Now I strongly believe that there are WAY TOO MANY stupid people out there ( in the stupid definition I include ignorant too). Just imagine what would have happened the day AS where legal in this country. And guys, we live in a country that doesn�t even allow people to DRINK before 21!!! To make it simple, I would have been in some serious trouble by now if AS was legal. I was ready to start a cycle without even hearing the words gyno, clomid, nolvadex and so on ( Thanks for this board I saved my self from BIG trouble). Besides it�s a different thing going professional and competing and just wanting to look good. I do not think that the present situation is fair for the pros, but look at the whole picture�I think it makes sense and it is there to protect people, the majority of people! And as I said before, what�s the difference legal and not legal? Everyone who�s interested still get their stuff� Just my humble opinion. IP: Logged |

kosfer I understand your point. And I thank the board for all the information they have givin me. But I can care less about other people hurting themselves. Why should I have to go to jail or pay a lot of money to save some idiot who abuses AS? If AS where legal they would be under a Doctors care, and this would elliminate any abuse. As far as everyone using AS, I don't think we will see more poeple abusing AS. It will just be safer to use I do think that AS should not be allowed in sports, or other competitive activities. LOL!!! Look what the governmaent did to cigg's could you imagine the price hikes on gear.....It is cazy the biggest drug dealer in the world will not legalize gear..Why???? Have to agree with BIZ. The buttmunches in Washinton will put their grubby little hands in your pocket any way they can. Can you say TAX? As far as doctors go, they have their uses but I know bodybuilders back home who have forgotten more about AS (as used in athletics) than most doctors know. Besides the Government(DEA) has them scared shitless to prescribe what's legal NOW. We COULD use Deepsquat's suggestion and just What we need to be fighting for is decriminalization. To have AS on the same schedule as narcotics is ludicrous. I personally would like to see the early 80's ------------------ IP: Logged |

I don't know if legalization is the answer but relaxing the laws may be a good thing. It may, in some cases, prevent people who can truly benefit from their usage from ever receiving the proper treatment they deserve. Instead people have to either go to a country where they are legal or purchase them through the black market at inflated prices. It just kinda irks me that the government can control what you do to your own body. You can smoke cigs if you like, but its a well known fact that they kill people, but you can't take a pill or a shot to improve your physical condition and in some cases, improve your self esteem. I seem to think steroid use encourages a healthier lifestyle. It puts people more in tune with their bodies, teaches most people how to improve their diets, promotes discipline and hard work, and steroid users are less likely to use other harmful drugs and products, even after steroid use is exhausted. People are always going to abuse something, wether it's legal or not. And that may be what the government is afraid of, their damned if they do, and their damned if they don't. I think kids today are slightly led astray by whats legal and whats not. Alcohol and tobacco are legal, and for some reason they are considered OK to use. They kill more people in a minute than AS has ever killed or probably will ever kill, legal or not. Tobacco users are now winning huge settlements from the companies that make it because they were stupid enough to smoke in the first place. But it makes me laugh, cause they shouldn't have ever been allowed to market their products in the first place!!! Slim IP: Logged |

I'm for legalization of all drugs for those over 21. America is supposed to be a free country, this means if you want to go out in the back yard and eat dirt you should be able to. Problem: Those in power make our laws and they are influenced by money. This is why steroids are illegal even though you rarely hear of someone dieing from them, and legal cigarettes go on to kill hundreds of thousands a year. BTW1 Legalizing drugs will also do away with overdoses from potency, and drug dealers as the US and private industry would be able to produce drugs at a fraction of the cost BTW2 I know someone is going to say crime would skyrocket but they would be wrong. Amsterdams crime levels are far below those in the US. The problem is the crime that occurs from people trying to get the street drug, not the drug itself- IP: Logged |
