![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() mon- chest heavy, legs light tues- shuolders, tris wed-back and bis thurs- legs heavy, chest light depending if its sore or not. sometimes i'll wait another day on chest fri- (chest light sometimes)superset back and bis, tris and shoulders all pretty light like 3 workouts on each. sat and sun- take off or do abs and run if i feel up to it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() good question. first, you guys need to state whether you are natural or not, same goes to the original poster. ok, you will DEFINETELY get better results if you train a certain muscle group TWICE a week. understand though that you cannot train every muscle group twice a week, as you will not recover, naturally that is. i would pick your weak bodypart and train that twice a week, while lowering the intensity of your strongest body part to once a week,or every 9-10 days with less sets at a lighter weight. Myschedule looks like this now: Mon....back, traps, abs Tue....heavy chest, calves Wed....Shoulders, forearms Thur...bis/tris, abs Fri....Legs Sat....light chest, abs Sun....OFF Just a thought. ![]() ![]() ![]() I hit each major muscle group (chest, bi's, tri's, back, delts, quads) once a week. I work my calves and forearms two times per week. If you are working the muscle to complete exhaustion, you shouldn't be able to work it with much intensity more than once a week!!! IP: Logged |
